Wonder if this would cause any issue with the ProClip USA bracket that attaches to the upper left side and then basically holds the upper right corner by pressure as it hooks onto the corner. Just wondering if the additional thickness would be issue?
Looks cool Carlos
Looks great
Awesome 😎
I am still confused if I should go again with borla atak route.. i owned 2018 2ss with borla atak. It was loud for sure.. now i owned 2lt with npp stock performance and debating to go with corsa extreme or borla... As most people mentioned and says corsa have a ezotic sound touch to it.. were as borla ia more likw truck sounding on idel.. can aomeone suggest

Thanks for the support!
Thanks 🙏🏾
It's a stupid argument. It is a fact that it's suboptimal for that crap to be ran back through your intake. I mean LOOK at that roughly 3 ounces of shit you poured out of the can.. Don't want that going back through the engine right? No one would.
Hello. I’m planing to order front lip, under tray and side skirts from ACS. Any discount code can I use from you?
That green looks amazing!
Thanks bud I appreciate it!
you doing way too much work for someone that will be trading it here soon for a Zr-1 😁
Haha theres still probably going to be another 2-3 years before I even have a chance at getting mine 😅. That being said I may be trading this gal in for something else alil better in the near future 😉.
Think first. Act second.
Fun! I'm in Austin with a Z07, how do I find out about these meetups?
This guy should do infomercials brah 😑
What state is this show?
This was in dallas texas
When you do the math the Ferrari 488 torque divided by 3.9 liters to get torque per liter then multiply this against 5.5 liters you get 800 ft/lbs torque GM stated 825 torque this extra 25 pounds could come from differences in psi applied to the turbos and or bigger engine bigger turbo more power production from the turbos types of headers. The Americans have less regulation than Europe another reason more torque so yes it is possible to reduce compression ratio on a flat plane crank HP valve train maybe 7500 to 8200 rpm red line bigger motor max torque by 2500 rpm 488 is 3000 rpm 3.9 liter compared to a 5.5
Plastisdip on engine cover? How much heat can it take?
@@tilligetbig surprisingly alot actually. So long as the prep and application is done correctly, it will keep well.
The c8 is by far the ugliest c series corvette ever made🤮
I saw a guy with a Borla ATAK on a C8 today and was wondering why he SPRAY PAINTED his carbon fiber exhaust tips....after watching your YT vid, I now know! I also, wish they protruded a little further from the back bumper. It looks too factory after spending $3500.
When are the cabin air filters due to be changed?
I’m getting Borla
Nice! Its an awesome exhaust!
@@NuHorizonC8Corsa borla drone? Which one you think is better?
@@daphnen5296 i can only speak with respect to the borla drone as ive never sat in a C8 and cruised around with a corsa installed to determine the drone level. That being said Borla has absolutely no drone if your cruising casually in top gear on the highway and the revs are low. Pretty comparable to stock in my honest opinion. Its not until you hit the throttle that it comes alive and your playing into the medium to high revs. Hope that helps
Awesome video. I wish they made this for the HTC!!!
Thanks bud! And yeah for sure! I feel having a version of this for the HTC is an opportunity being missed!
@@NuHorizonC8 agreed.
I'm on stock z51 coilovers and for the life of me I cannot get the black plastic sleeve to unhitch from the bottom perch. Even when using a razer-thin metal pry tool that easily gets in there. over 30 years of working on BMWs and subarus and this one thing has defeated me lol
This XBrace is identical to GM’s. I actually have the one from GM and you can’t tell them apart , other than the massive price difference.
Yeah I would agree with you on that. They are practically identical and for a much better price!
@@2020matrix8 GM most likely purchase the parts from them.
A 4 percent torsion stiffness is huge and you would absolutely notice it like you said, on the track. Man you're the fun and very detailed C8 Corvette add on components KZread channel. You must be having fun along with the excitement of adding on cool components. All your videos are well done. Cheers!
Hey Bud I definitely appreciate the compliment! yeah its alot of fun adding these Mods and sharing them with everyone! I just am glad to make things both fun and useful to others who might be interested too! Thanks for the support! It really means alot to me!
Hey Carlos, as usual your videos are awesome. I’m about to pull the trigger on an exhaust and I’m torn between the s type and atak… The atak sounds deeper, although online the style is said to be deeper. I can’t tell 100% which is better, or their respective loudness. Any thoughts and advice is appreciated. TIA
Hey Joe nice! I would say the ATAK is going to be the way to go. The ATAK has a significantly deeper exhaust note and is noteably louder than the S-Type. I've heard the S-type a handful of times and honestly its underwhelming for me but that's because I prefer loud and deep exhaust notes. But it comes down to personal preference and what is most important to you. Hope that helps! Thanks again for the compliment and comment!
@@NuHorizonC8 thanks for getting back to me so quickly and your honest answer is appreciated. I actually prefer the s type higher note, but wish it was with the atak level of loudness. I’ll see if I can hear them in person in south Florida. Thanks again! 🙏
@@JoesGarage-c8corvette no problemo! if the S-type note is what your after but want it louder, a high flow mid cat along with the S-type should do the trick! 👍
@@NuHorizonC8 sweet idea!! Thanks bro. I appreciate all your hard work.
Neutral then dump to drive? Really?😂
I can honestly tell you that the C6 Corvette was an awesome car to drive but then when the C7 came out, oh my goodness the way it evolved as the last front engine C7 Corvette compared to the previous generation C6 Corvette. We have driven our 2014 C7 Corvette to Texas several times and without a doubt it has such an amazing characteristic in the way it handles around bumpy roads and curves. I recently installed a pair of Michelin pilot sport all season 4 P0 that are even better than the previous generation summer tires from Michelin. Driving 100 mph consistently without having any drama, even reaching speeds of 160 mph continue to inspire confidence, regardless of road conditions. We have a 2021 Challenger RT scat pack widebody shaker with a bigger size Michelin pilot sport all season 4 measuring 315/35/ZR20 non run flat the transform the handling from the OEM Perelli tires that it had. Yet I can tell you that the Corvette handles with more precision than the Challenger. Keep in mind we are talking about the highest equipped challenger with the best suspension set up that Dodge has to offer. It’s their version of mag ride. Even though the 2014, Stingray has the standard Z51 suspension non mag ride. With that being said, I can imagine how amazing the new C8 ZR1 will handle on the road.
I mean, this looks amazing...and you saved THOUSANDS of dollars. Great job sir. I could never do it though, LOL.
At least you gave it a try bro
Sorry I missed you, I had to cut out of there early.
No worries bro! Figured ill catch you again sometime soon!
Good to see Mike Brink and Mark T there with you! 🙏
How do you know when these events will happen? Id love to bring my c8 out as well@nuhorizonc8
Hey thanks for the comment! So ussually alot of these corvette specific meetups are announced on local corvette facebook groups. You can also find them sometimes through instagram or through this one app called "parkupfront". That will ussually capture the big ones here in Dallas /Fort Worth. This one is speciffically held once a quarter by Vette Syndicate and Corvette Warehouse Hope that helps!
Thanks! Big fan of your channel, keep up the good work!
@@MrLeeje713 thanks bud! Appreciate the support!

Great video and introduction of the new product. Keep 'em coming.
I had a similar issue with my seat. I tried to repair it myself and I wasn't satisfied so I just got the part number from Chevy and replaced the top seat cover because getting it professionally repaired will not look good as it did from the factory.
Great video as usual. I am trying to decide between the Atak and S - type. So hard to tell from videos, but I think the S has a better tone. I am trying to fond someone local with each to decide.
Before the seats get that way, use Gtechniq leather protector, and be a little careful not to abrade the seats so much getting in and out. It has worked great for me on my 2024 C8.
My flashlight clip snags my Recaro's in my ATSV. I gotta dye them. Its hard being a working man blue color with nice cars. My knife and mag holder on the other side causes issues too.
GT2 seats are very snug, not surprised that could mean more premature wear.
I am shopping 10+ year old porsche's and I have never seen seats that badly worn.. Porsches' with 200k miles.. lol.. The Gm quality is not even close to premium...
The top off and Texas heat might have also changed the color a little. I say sell it and get a Z06 or E-ray to fix it 👍👍
That might be the plan secretly in a few months. 😉
It's worth noting how grimy the tan seatbelts have gotten. If you're spec'ng a new order... Stick with standard black. Those in colors will never get clean again. That's a pro tip.
Yeah i need to try and clean the seatbelts but next C8 I own im probably going to go a different direction all together for interior.
I believe this leather has a coating from the factory as per the manual, how is it to absorb? How about warranty?
Yes there is a coating. I used this dye to tan cool grey stitching. Worked great. Was easy to clean off the black leather as it would not absorb.
Colourlock Leather Repair DIY Kit may help. Would cost more.
Honestly, it appears you’ve had die transfer. I had red seats in the ‘15 and wear black jeans. After a few months mine would look similar to your backs. My ceramic cleaner would take it if. My wife’s Equinox we use to have, she had a pink Coach purse that got wet, transfer to her light gray seats. Multiple Mr. Clean sponges got it out.
Hey bud so its not die transfer im pretty sure. The dye transfer comes off pretty easily from my seats as i had done a thorough job before videoing. The seats will pick up alittle bit of blue from my jeans and such that comes out but these spots are more of the top layer has been rubbed off kind of deal.
Not bad, but did you protect the leather on a yearly basis? Totally agree with the comment above regarding high end leather cleaner and ceramic coating
Hey bud so I did protect the leather minus ceramic coating. But id consistently use leather cleaner and protectant at least once a month. Still the wear is a but premature in my opinion but i attributed it to me just being a bigger guy in the seat
I'm amazed the leather is in that condition with the miles you have. Even not conditioned, I've never had a vehicle with leather do that with low miles. At least you tried. The car is worth it......have the seat professionally done.
Yeah thats my thought that its a bit premature of wear but figure to give a DIY kit a shot before getting it professionally repaired.
I feel like it matches the but area smooth leather. The sides may have absorbed too much sweat and oils to come back
Yeah thats my thought. It matches the center seat section pretty close but the bolsters is no where near close. I wish the camera picked it up better.
