This is a beautiful game and experience. I just try to play a „solo raven“ as a sideline in a multiplayer Middle Earth (The One Ring system). Where do find a community to discuss questions and ideas? The reddit group seems pretty … quiet, lets say. It would be interesting to know what other people do and think.

Kraken Dice is the only company that I am aware of that does the 1/2 lb and full lb bags as complete sets, whereas everyone else just does a random mix. More of a bulk pack of mystery bags versus a scoop out of a big ol barrel 😁

They aren't cheap and if you weren't really into getting mixed odd dice you could be stumped what to do with them! ... if you are genuinely wanting some...fair do's, it would be nice to see what you get for your cash. ... and you got some great kraken sets there! 😀👍

My 14 piece mystery set is the same! I really like them, especially the new d4 design. I find this design easier to pick up, as opposed to the standard tetrahedron d4 which I find hard to puck up.

Those are really nice! That frosted blue set 😍! I must say like the raw green, the lilacy blue and the volcanic! Great choices in sets. That silicon d20 made me laugh... I thought eh up hes even treating the cat!!!! Cant wait for the mystery sets....and specially the half pound of dice. I've been eyeing a bag up myself .... not on kraken, somewhere else, and wondering if it's worth its weight in dice....I mean if you get a good mix of colour (not all pink!!!!!) and variety. I'd love to make a set up that just dont go and are a mish mash of all sorts.... I suppose I could just get dice from the sets I already have.....but I dont want to mix em up or lose em .... every set has its place and game and I just cant do it! Hope everyone is enjoying their gifts and happy gaming!

Some is having Random Realities XD Honestly those dice are great, the volcano ones... OMFG I love them. Even the pink for your daughter. Would be me I would pretend I never received them... XD

hahaha There's a reason I chose the pink ones for her!! 😉 The Random Realities book is an amazing tool. I used it during my "Infaernum" series to great effect, and will be something I shall be using a lot more in the future! But... did you spot the item underneath it?

You've totally sold me on this game. I'm always interested in crafting systems in games. And as much as sometimes I love games with tactical combat, a game that specifically eschews that definitely is appealing to my head and heart.

Not a bad game. And remind a lot the Lone wolf type books. Simpler, in writing, deeper in game elements. the difficulty seems quite hard cause 8+ (generally) on 2 D6 isn't a gift by any means, you already under 50% chance of success !

I think you might have some dice you could use as modifiers. The ones with + numbers on one dice and - numbers on the other.... if you've still got em that is! Have you thought about making a dice tower? Don't know if it will make your results any better but you never know! I made one and I love it! Didn't do all the fancy stuff folks have done on KZread vids I've watched... its just a cardboard box, haven't painted it or made it look like a tower...but it works good enough for me!

Yes I still have those dice and they would work well for the CM!! I have three Dice Towers that I made for earlier game series. You can see them in my "5 Parsecs" and "Alone Against Fear" videos. There is also another one by Worldworksgames featured elsewhere.

My english is not that bad and this is the first game thay 'Confuses' me. Will wait for future editions cause i can't get past warband creation. It says i can add 2 of a particular unit, say Levi. But those are under another warband (mercenary)... so i can get units from mercenarys for other bands? The leader is also not mentioned in the band composition. So THOSE units + a leader?....

Hi and welcome!! Lets see if I can try and make things clearer 😁. Mercenaries are a faction and cannot be taken in other warbands. For each Warband it states what you start with. For example, on pg 15, the first faction in the book, 'Cadaennorians', start with 1 Sergeant (the leader), 2 Corporals, and 2 Levies. The stats for these are found on pg17. As you play more games and earn money, you can recruit more members but only from within the same faction. Hope that helps. Let me know if there is anything else I can help with 😁

I know that I am finding this playthru 10 months too late, but this looks so fun. 10:20 to 18:09 I would interpret that as Bjorn is in the dark and therefore cannot see very far ahead as he adventures. When he finally reaches the large room he finds that the corridors he saw moments ago were actually large pillars at the south end of the large room. I think I would redesign a bit to reflect this, the fact that it is a fountain room plays well with this design. I think one other adaptation that would be good would be to have the size of the dungeon (30x20) be somewhat fluid, where room sizes at the fluid border would bump out into the fluid area and represent the extent of the overall border in that direction.

Not bad so far. The little system to crank down the CM is nice, cause when I saw the +3 I was... OK now it is lost cause +3 on 2D6 is like pumeling your chance down to a miserable degree. The text book style with things to read is also nice. Mean remind me of the Lone Wolf series, and Sorcery! series, more than Zork. You have a PBTA vibe here with a certain tendancy to score the yes, but, more than the yes. (perhaps a tad bit too much, but honestly 10 difficulty on 2D6... ) The character sheet, simple and good looking is quite nice. Ansolutely lovely playing cards, man they are so great XD So awesome presentation. There is a boost in sound as well XD

Yeah, so far it does feel easier than the first one (Portent of the Vales), the extra Command Points helps a lot but I have been rolling up higher than normal Challenge Ratings..... no surprise eh!! The cards are one of my Alchemy sets and yes, sound has been better ever since the 'NagaMinis' video 😉, though still figuring out table layouts to make the best use.

I Played through 8 heists now with only one heist bailing out before reaching 12 intel. I've come to the conclusion that keeping the cyberware from previous heists is basically the game's form of character progression and development. My personal goal is to buy all cyberware before bailing out 3 times or dying once. This is a pretty cool game, and while playing I'm developing my other hobby- 3d designing and printing custom models for the game which I'll probably upload in the future. I don't have that much experience in tabletop gaming but enjoy them immensely- can anybody recommend more solo games of the like?

Found your videos on this recently and got me playing 5 Leagues again! I agree with you on limited ammo rule but my workaround was to use a supply die system. Roll D8 when you shoot, on a 1 or 2 it drops to D6, then D4, then youre out. Makes it less punishing but still allows enemies to run out too. I changed the quiver to increade your die by 1 step (so start at D10)

Hi and welcome to the channel. More papercraft videos will be added in the near future!! I only use normal paper (70-80gsm) for really small objects. For the majority of papercraft I use either 160gsm or 230gsm. 160gsm for most things (its cheaper), but 230gsm where some amount of structural strength or rigidity is needed (most buildings and larger vehicles). My 14 piece mystery set is the same! I really like them, especially the new d4 design. I find this design easier to pick up, as opposed to the standard tetrahedron d4 which I find hard to puck up.
I may have to use my $20 voucher on another one of those sets!!

Those are really nice! That frosted blue set 😍! I must say like the raw green, the lilacy blue and the volcanic! Great choices in sets. That silicon d20 made me laugh... I thought eh up hes even treating the cat!!!! Cant wait for the mystery sets....and specially the half pound of dice. I've been eyeing a bag up myself .... not on kraken, somewhere else, and wondering if it's worth its weight in dice....I mean if you get a good mix of colour (not all pink!!!!!) and variety. I'd love to make a set up that just dont go and are a mish mash of all sorts.... I suppose I could just get dice from the sets I already have.....but I dont want to mix em up or lose em .... every set has its place and game and I just cant do it! Some is having Random Realities XD Honestly those dice are great, the volcano ones... OMFG I love them. Even the pink for your daughter. Would be me I would pretend I never received them... XD
hahaha There's a reason I chose the pink ones for her!! 😉 The Random Realities book is an amazing tool. I used it during my "Infaernum" series to great effect, and will be something I shall be using a lot more in the future! But... did you spot the item underneath it?

You've totally sold me on this game. I'm always interested in crafting systems in games. And as much as sometimes I love games with tactical combat, a game that specifically eschews that definitely is appealing to my head and heart.
I hope you enjoy. It really is a great little game that takes the player far away from the usual fare. Also, Cezar has just updated all the art for the book. Looks even more amazing now!
Not a bad game. And remind a lot the Lone wolf type books. Simpler, in writing, deeper in game elements. the difficulty seems quite hard cause 8+ (generally) on 2 D6 isn't a gift by any means, you already under 50% chance of success !
If the game was too easy it wouldn't be much fun 😉
I think you might have some dice you could use as modifiers. The ones with + numbers on one dice and - numbers on the other.... if you've still got em that is! Have you thought about making a dice tower? Don't know if it will make your results any better but you never know! I made one and I love it! Didn't do all the fancy stuff folks have done on KZread vids I've watched... its just a cardboard box, haven't painted it or made it look like a tower...but it works good enough for me!
Yes I still have those dice and they would work well for the CM!! I have three Dice Towers that I made for earlier game series. You can see them in my "5 Parsecs" and "Alone Against Fear" videos. There is also another one by Worldworksgames featured elsewhere.

My english is not that bad and this is the first game thay 'Confuses' me. Will wait for future editions cause i can't get past warband creation. It says i can add 2 of a particular unit, say Levi. But those are under another warband (mercenary)... so i can get units from mercenarys for other bands? The leader is also not mentioned in the band composition. So THOSE units + a leader?....
Hi and welcome!! Lets see if I can try and make things clearer 😁. Mercenaries are a faction and cannot be taken in other warbands. For each Warband it states what you start with. For example, on pg 15, the first faction in the book, 'Cadaennorians', start with 1 Sergeant (the leader), 2 Corporals, and 2 Levies. The stats for these are found on pg17. As you play more games and earn money, you can recruit more members but only from within the same faction. Hope that helps. Let me know if there is anything else I can help with 😁
I know that I am finding this playthru 10 months too late, but this looks so fun. 10:20 to 18:09 I would interpret that as Bjorn is in the dark and therefore cannot see very far ahead as he adventures. When he finally reaches the large room he finds that the corridors he saw moments ago were actually large pillars at the south end of the large room. I think I would redesign a bit to reflect this, the fact that it is a fountain room plays well with this design. I think one other adaptation that would be good would be to have the size of the dungeon (30x20) be somewhat fluid, where room sizes at the fluid border would bump out into the fluid area and represent the extent of the overall border in that direction.

Not bad so far. The little system to crank down the CM is nice, cause when I saw the +3 I was... OK now it is lost cause +3 on 2D6 is like pumeling your chance down to a miserable degree. The text book style with things to read is also nice. Mean remind me of the Lone Wolf series, and Sorcery! series, more than Zork. You have a PBTA vibe here with a certain tendancy to score the yes, but, more than the yes. (perhaps a tad bit too much, but honestly 10 difficulty on 2D6... ) The character sheet, simple and good looking is quite nice. Ansolutely lovely playing cards, man they are so great XD So awesome presentation. There is a boost in sound as well XD
Yeah, so far it does feel easier than the first one (Portent of the Vales), the extra Command Points helps a lot but I have been rolling up higher than normal Challenge Ratings..... no surprise eh!! The cards are one of my Alchemy sets and yes, sound has been better ever since the 'NagaMinis' video 😉, though still figuring out table layouts to make the best use.

That was excellent! I was drinking my coffee when you rolled that 3. I laughed so hard I spilt it all over my lap. I know it’s not fun for you rolling low, but for the viewer it really cranks up the tension to 11! and now I’m going to have to explain the coffee stains on the sofa to my wife 😢
Dice Gods curse... that's my thang!! 😁 If you watch my very early videos (and apologies for the terrible quality of those by the way) you'll hear much more colourful language and reactions as I introduce the world to my innate ability to defy dice probabilities.... I Played through 8 heists now with only one heist bailing out before reaching 12 intel. I've come to the conclusion that keeping the cyberware from previous heists is basically the game's form of character progression and development. My personal goal is to buy all cyberware before bailing out 3 times or dying once. This is a pretty cool game, and while playing I'm developing my other hobby- 3d designing and printing custom models for the game which I'll probably upload in the future. I don't have that much experience in tabletop gaming but enjoy them immensely- can anybody recommend more solo games of the like?

My first D&D box set from around 1980 came with pink dice and crayon.
My D&D Red Box had a very light blue dice set and a white crayon... I still have them somewhere (the dice, not the crayon) but they are so worn and scuffed 😁

Found your videos on this recently and got me playing 5 Leagues again! I agree with you on limited ammo rule but my workaround was to use a supply die system. Roll D8 when you shoot, on a 1 or 2 it drops to D6, then D4, then youre out. Makes it less punishing but still allows enemies to run out too. I changed the quiver to increade your die by 1 step (so start at D10)

I stumbled upon a ton of papercrafting stuff today and I've been down the rabbit hole for a few hours now. I'm very glad you made all of these videos because you're covering most of what I've found!! I'm sorry if you've covered this but do you use normal printer paper for these or do you use anything thicker? thank you for these videos!!
Hi and welcome to the channel. More papercraft videos will be added in the near future!! I only use normal paper (70-80gsm) for really small objects. For the majority of papercraft I use either 160gsm or 230gsm. 160gsm for most things (its cheaper), but 230gsm where some amount of structural strength or rigidity is needed (most buildings and larger vehicles).
