I think the "not sure where this is" photo is either at the southern end of Lake View, or perhaps behind where Lidl now stands.

Brilliant memories, Boothtown J&I School. It would be nice if some pictures of Sunnyside Infants and Secondary School were there.

I used to get my penny arrow bars from your shop after school Boothtown juniors and used to play British bulldogs in the sheds at break time Also used to play at the old clay mine pushing the old carts on the lines.

Hi Maggy Mark Humphreys here - I've got a picture of your shop on my phone - get in touch and I'll send it to you. If you are still in Halifax we could go for a beer and a visit to Halifax Library where I took the photo of the picture of your shop! There's loads of pictures of Halifax from the 1960s & 70s as places were being cleared for redevelopment. Be good to see you anyway!

Hey up Hairy Humpheys! Great to hear from you. Unfortunately a beer will be a bit difficult as I am back living in Spain. However you appear to have one of my holy grails as I have no pictures of the old shop. My Spanish number is +34 711030788 and I am on WhatsApp. Let's keep in touch

Nice to see the that shot of Boothtown Methodist Church. My dad was the minister there in the mid-'60s. The minister's manse was in Chester Road - now, that was a 'characterful' house.

Ahhhh Woodside swimming baths, we lived on Woodside Road until I was five so remember the baths and park very well. I remember falling in the pond! I went to Sunnyside school. All mum's family lived around Boothtown, Claremount and Southowram. Happy days

At time stamp 4:15 where it says "Not sure where this is" looks to be just below where KFC is now. There is a small path from Haley Hill that take you to this existing path down over the railway bridge to old lane.

Yes, I agree. I worked at James Heal (on Lake View, or behind Haley Hill filling station) and I think the shot was immediately to the south of there.
