Wow! You were so blessed to find such a wonderful deal on all of these early Pleasant Company items, still in boxes. The blue and white striped dress belongs to Kirsten. I thoroughly enjoyed this video and am now a new subscriber to your channel! ❤

The dolls had no body tags before 2000. They weren’t cut off unless you see the edge of a tag in the seam.

American Girl has brought me so much joy from the time I discovered them from my first doll and then full on collocting the dolls and Right now I'm rereading the books. Yesterday I found a wellie wisher at goodwill in her full outfit and in amazing condition. I cleaned her up. I had her sleep in the bed with me last night it was fun. I needed it

My oldest niece who's 3 found my meet Nicki and Isabel book shes looking at the pictures she says Mickey for Nicki that's her favorite right now. I think Nicki might be her First doll when she's a little bit older

My 2 little nieces loves their Bitty baby doll they play with her all the time it's their favorite doll. I'm wanting to get them the girls of the year from the years they were born. 2020 Joss and 2022 Corrine when their a little bit older

I went to the AG place Scottsdale in 2016 it was my first and only trip to an AG place. It was so awesome it was a dream come true for me and I came home with Lea GOTY 2016 and historical Rebecca

What a blessing !! Question: Are you considering a reading point system for children to get the "big ticket items" like the OG classroom?

We are still trying to get to figure out what the Learn & Plays will look like. I recently organized an advisory board to help me with program design and evaluation of the program. Awarding certain benefits with program completion is one of the considerations being made. If you have any ideas, would welcome them. ♥️

I’m an elementary teacher and I fix up dolls for students. The look on their faces when they get them - worth all the time spent refurbishing them💗 64 and feel just like you - started just 2 years ago and it’s my happy place for sure.

The silver eyed one does look like Samantha. You can send her to the AG doll hospital for free. They will reimburse you for shipping due to silver eyes due to manufacturing error.

The older Samantha’s have white bodies because the dress covers their neck. After they made lower neck lines they changed the cloth color to more skin tone 🤗

I love what you are doing. Such a wonderful thing to give back to the community. I collect the historical girls as an older adult collector. I live in Canada so I am not that familiar with the history in their stories. I look forward to reading all of their books to learn more about them. That is Samantha’s dress. 😄 Dolls are my happy place too! I love fixing up thrifted AG dolls. I am still learning and it gives me a lot of joy. I am happy for you. It’s never too late to start. 😃🙏

I wish you great success with your wonderful organization! the lighting was not clear enough to really identify each doll, there are so many american girl dolls that are not the historical characters. Depending on when each doll was manufactured and if they are "Girl of the Year" "Truely Me" "Be Forever" dolls (there are sooo many) it can be very hard to identify which character or # doll you have. I think you are just starting a wonderful journey! Have fun! there are many facebook groups that are good sources of information too!
