  Cbr1000rr-r is inline 4 this is a v4 custom designed engine for racing however to meet emissions on a engine design for racing you are going to get big power loss that you can easily get back plus it has very best suspension brakes and is a moto gp chassis with all the most advanced electronics and is not mass produced, bike is not made for average consumer so there is no cutting corners to bring price down all is top of the line replica of the most elite racing bike in the world rc213v

  Forgot to mention, some makers of Helmets do use the same size shell for 2 sizes, like HJC, the Large and X Large often will have same shell and thinner foam on the XL - if you care about protection try to get a helmet that has the most foam for its shell size
