there was this guy named infiltration who was banned from street fighter tournaments because of domestic violence accusations, this month at evo 2024 he showed up anyways and made a thread about his experience (obviously he wasn't competing). At evo there was a large wall decoration showing all of the winners of past evos, including infiltration. Someone scribbled out his name and wrote "RAPIST" over it, despite him never at any point being accused of rape. After he made that thread about his experience there were people who had never played a street fighter game in their life (or people who never heard of infiltration) calling for his visa to be removed because "He's a rapist". With literally 0 real accusations besides some anonymous guy scribbling that over his name. also in the splatoon community some guy got accused of sa and thats what made some twitter residents unironically say "#guiltyuntilproveninnocent". I was thinking of those 2 incidents this entire video and even though it never mentions them it describes them perfectly

Amazing video. Wish I could make something like this myself but I doubt it would reach people. This commentary channel thing is just about as soulless as cooperate channels and their dumbed down extreme center unsolicited opinion is only making their commenters and fans stupider as they binge these kinds of videos in the background while playing elden ring or something. Shits bad, to the point where I see new channels on my recommended that average 2k subs and their entire catalogue is just covering drama from the beginning of the channel's creation. No attempts to make themselves look authentic by keeping up their bandicam footage of minecraft and instead sanitizing any individuality once had for clout and views. And other channels I see divert from their original content which was at least reviews for whatever game they like to covering THE WORST PERSON ON KZread for real this time, right? Their attempts to make themselves look like moral arbiters for taking the enlightened centrist opinion, because being objective and picking sides is cringe, just makes me dislike them more. Sucks that you lost your passion but I don't believe you should give up since I'm sure people are desperate for a return to putting the you in KZread. I certainly won't be giving up.

Wouldve thought you were referring to people jumping to cancel Chris over old tweets from years ago, before the grooming allegations had legs. Even with that, Id say the video still very much stands: A lot of the people reporting on this are there to reap the benefits, and not much else. Its evident in how fast they release their videos and how little research they do, generally relying on each other for info. They dont actually care, they just want the dollar. If they did, then they wouldnt constantly give surface level takes with low effort content that only serves to at best signal boost an allegation, sometimes without any consideration for falsehoods or overexaggerations, just reporting what everyone else is saying for ez views. I feel we should respect people who actually put time and research into allegations like this, not the leeches that feed off other people's info and add nothing other than a mouthpiece.

I understand your main critique is “commentary channels are bad” but that’s not what this video comes off as. It just seems like you’re defending horrible people, even though you say you’re not. 1. Chris Tyson It is crazy how much you are downplaying this situation. What Chris did isn’t just “liking cringy things” and you conflating it with pyro having a certain TF2 avatar is just so disingenuous. Chris actively interacted with someone called Shadman, a popular cp artist (and I don’t mean that in an over exaggerated way. He literally draws illegal shit). But I do agree with you when you say, “actions speak louder than words” because the actions Chris did was buy art from Shadman and display it on his walls. This combined with what he said on twitter is a pretty good indicator that it’s more than just “cringy” or “edgy” stuff. It’s one thing to joke about it, it’s another to actively participate in it, and that is exactly what Chris did. Then you do more disingenuous conflating with the Kevin Hart situation. So let me ask you, how, in any way, is some racist tweets similar to what Chris did? Then you go on to criticize the people who made videos on Chris and said that they’re “blowing it way out of proportion.” Have you even watched the videos? I don’t think showing proof of what Chris has said and the things he has done is “blowing it out of proportion.” Also, something I find interesting is that you say people are going after Chris for saying “cringy” stuff, but then you criticize the thumbnails and video titles by saying it’s “cringy clickbait” (which it isn’t). So how are you going to be like, “Oh, Chris only did cringy things in the past. Why are you cancelling him?” but then turn around and criticize KZreadrs for apparently doing the same thing: doing cringy things. Make it make sense. Leechtubers Majority of this is just your personal opinion on commentary KZreadrs so I won’t say much about that here but I will say this: you said they have poor editing. The appeal of commentary KZreadrs isn’t the editing, it’s usually the opinions and information the KZreadr is talking about in their videos which is why people watch them. They don’t watch them for their editing. You talk about how commentary KZreadrs reach the bottom of the barrel for context and then bring up Dr. Disrespect. If reaching the bottom of the barrel means helping spread awareness about a self admitted pedophile, then sign me the fuck up because I (and I’m sure many other people) would love to join them at the bottom. Also, you again downplayed it by saying, “‘Dr. Disrespect. Did you hear he texted a minor? Blah blah blah.’ So boring.” He admitted it himself. I don’t think I need to do much explaining here. You just sound insane. And you say that making content about this is soulless and boring… the irony, I must say. You then go on to talk about EDP445. You said that the people who talked about it didn’t do the research and didn’t even know there was no victim. It was just a decoy. Again, did you even watch the videos? Literally everyone knew it was a decoy and that someone played the role of a 13 year old girl. And you imply that just because it’s a decoy, there was no wrong doing. This is literally how police do this type of stuff. It’s called a sting operation. Then you said this, and I quote: “The pedophilia cases are the ones that tend to pisses me off the most. I’ve done no research.” ( 7:56 ) Now I know why you sound absolutely insane. Just as some general advice: if you don’t know what you’re talking about, then don’t talk about it. Because if you do, you get videos like the one you posted here where you absolutely sound insane. You then say that nowadays, when people make videos criticizing someone else, you don’t know if it’s serious or not. If people show proof of someone being a pedophile/perverted and it’s not seen as serious, then I don’t know what is. You have to understand, when you are a public figure, whether or KZreadr or some other type of public figure, you are always up for criticism. Yes, there are bad criticisms that get thrown around from time to time but majority of the time, it is valid. You then say that on the internet, you are guilty until proven innocent instead of the other way around. In some cases, that may be true. But in a lot of cases, the evidence is so damning, it’s impossible to defend against it. Also, on the internet, you’re not dealing with a court of law, you’re dealing with the court of public opinion and if the evidence is good enough to change the public opinion you’re done for, unless you can debunk all of the claims. You then say “do your own research” which I agree with, you should be your own individual and do your own research. But the problem here is that it’s coming from you, the guy who just said he hasn’t done any research just about a minute ago. This is just so hypocritical. Your advice isn’t bad, by no means, but how are you not going to practice what you preach? 3. Colleen’s Night in the Woods I don’t know anything about this situation so I won’t say anything about that. But after briefly going over the situation, you say that you’re not defending anyone… that is what this entire video comes across as. I understand your main criticism is the commentary KZreadrs themselves, but you never made that clear at the beginning of the video so this entire thing just comes off as you defending horrible people. If your main message is that the commentary KZreadrs are bad, make that clear from the start. Also, don’t use confirmed pedophiles as examples as to why commentary KZreadrs are bad because, again, it’s not a good look at all. And most importantly, do research. And then you end the video off by saying that commentary KZreadrs are bad stating your reasons why which, hey, I guess everyone is entitled to their own opinions. Conclusion: this entire video sounded like you were defending horrible people, whether that was your intention or not. You sound insane. To be fair, hating on stuff you know exaftly why you hate is a great trend. If they actually knew what they talked about. But whatever. Most negative opinions that get mocked are always the uneducated ones and people not knowing what they are talking about - both because of ego and because you are not supposrd to interact with what you dislike. I dislike a lot of games. But in the end it's both just literally preference, and even if i wanted to say that it sucks - i couldn't, because at one point i just quit, and couldn't bother to boot it up again.

Those videos are always the ones, that i literally cannot bring myself to finish watching in any form. Their content is the equivalent of just pure clickbait. I click - get bored, then click away, because i don't give a shit. Especially given how they extend and stretch out their videos to 8 minutes without giving any actual substance. What can be said in 1 minute gets extended to 8 hours for that revenue. Maybe actually have something to say, rather than dilute your content with so much water, that it's a much better investment for me to just be entirely oblivious? Not even the adhd subtitles will save me from getting bored of watching meaningless content. Because i could always just do something that matters. Like drawing for myself, washing dishes, or organizing my room. Even going outside to just buy milk is a much more fulfilling experience than their content. Like all, all of these videos can be ignored entirely, if you just ask yourself "would i even care tomorrow?" I give it like a 50/50 chance, that this comment gets wiped, because i said a bad word once. Thanks youtube.

This whole video sounds like you are actively putting your self in "danger" of a spoiler and complaining that it happens. Not to mention that just by seeing a screenshot of a said game/movie/etc. is not really that bad since you dont know the context of it so you dont even know what it means, it could be anything. Amazing video. Wish I could make something like this myself but I doubt it would reach people. This commentary channel thing is just about as soulless as cooperate channels and their dumbed down extreme center unsolicited opinion is only making their commenters and fans stupider as they binge these kinds of videos in the background while playing elden ring or something. Shits bad, to the point where I see new channels on my recommended that average 2k subs and their entire catalogue is just covering drama from the beginning of the channel's creation. No attempts to make themselves look authentic by keeping up their bandicam footage of minecraft and instead sanitizing any individuality once had for clout and views. And other channels I see divert from their original content which was at least reviews for whatever game they like to covering THE WORST PERSON ON KZread for real this time, right? Even with that, Id say the video still very much stands: A lot of the people reporting on this are there to reap the benefits, and not much else. Its evident in how fast they release their videos and how little research they do, generally relying on each other for info. They dont actually care, they just want the dollar. If they did, then they wouldnt constantly give surface level takes with low effort content that only serves to at best signal boost an allegation, sometimes without any consideration for falsehoods or overexaggerations, just reporting what everyone else is saying for ez views. Chris actively interacted with someone called Shadman, a popular cp artist (and I don’t mean that in an over exaggerated way. He literally draws illegal shit). But I do agree with you when you say, “actions speak louder than words” because the actions Chris did was buy art from Shadman and display it on his walls. This combined with what he said on twitter is a pretty good indicator that it’s more than just “cringy” or “edgy” stuff. It’s one thing to joke about it, it’s another to actively participate in it, and that is exactly what Chris did. Then you do more disingenuous conflating with the Kevin Hart situation. So let me ask you, how, in any way, is some racist tweets similar to what Chris did? Then you go on to criticize the people who made videos on Chris and said that they’re “blowing it way out of proportion.” Have you even watched the videos? They don’t watch them for their editing. You talk about how commentary KZreadrs reach the bottom of the barrel for context and then bring up Dr. Disrespect. If reaching the bottom of the barrel means helping spread awareness about a self admitted pedophile, then sign me the fuck up because I (and I’m sure many other people) would love to join them at the bottom. If people show proof of someone being a pedophile/perverted and it’s not seen as serious, then I don’t know what is. You have to understand, when you are a public figure, whether or KZreadr or some other type of public figure, you are always up for criticism. Yes, there are bad criticisms that get thrown around from time to time but majority of the time, it is valid. You then say that on the internet, you are guilty until proven innocent instead of the other way around. In some cases, that may be true. But in a lot of cases, the evidence is so damning, it’s impossible to defend against it. Also, on the internet, you’re not dealing with a court of law, you’re dealing with the court of public opinion and if the evidence is good enough to change the public opinion you’re done for, unless you can debunk all of the claims. You then say “do your own research” which I agree with, you should be your own individual and do your own research. But the problem here is that it’s coming from you, the guy who just said he hasn’t done any research just about a minute ago. This is just so hypocritical. Your advice isn’t bad, by no means, but how are you not going to practice what you preach? 3. Colleen’s Night in the Woods I don’t know anything about this situation so I won’t say anything about that. But after briefly going over the situation, you say that you’re not defending anyone… that is what this entire video comes across as. I understand your main criticism is the commentary KZreadrs themselves, but you never made that clear at the beginning of the video so this entire thing just comes off as you defending horrible people. If your main message is that the commentary KZreadrs are bad, make that clear from the start. Also, don’t use confirmed pedophiles as examples as to why commentary KZreadrs are bad because, again, it’s not a good look at all. And most importantly, do research. To be fair, hating on stuff you know exaftly why you hate is a great trend. If they actually knew what they talked about. But whatever. Most negative opinions that get mocked are always the uneducated ones and people not knowing what they are talking about - both because of ego and because you are not supposrd to interact with what you dislike. I dislike a lot of games. But in the end it's both just literally preference, and even if i wanted to say that it sucks - i couldn't, because at one point i just quit, and couldn't bother to boot it up again.
Those videos are always the ones, that i literally cannot bring myself to finish watching in any form. Their content is the equivalent of just pure clickbait. I click - get bored, then click away, because i don't give a shit. Especially given how they extend and stretch out their videos to 8 minutes without giving any actual substance. What can be said in 1 minute gets extended to 8 hours for that revenue. Maybe actually have something to say, rather than dilute your content with so much water, that it's a much better investment for me to just be entirely oblivious? Not even the adhd subtitles will save me from getting bored of watching meaningless content. Because i could always just do something that matters. Like drawing for myself, washing dishes, or organizing my room. Even going outside to just buy milk is a much more fulfilling experience than their content. Like all, all of these videos can be ignored entirely, if you just ask yourself "would i even care tomorrow?" Why do you search for a topic you dont want to be spoiled on? Why you read and watch the content that spoils it? The algorithm will suggest topics you actively search for/ click on. This whole video sounds like you are actively putting your self in "danger" of a spoiler and complaining that it happens. Not to mention that just by seeing a screenshot of a said game/movie/etc. is not really that bad since you dont know the context of it so you dont even know what it means, it could be anything. Unless you look up every detail about it, gaining the neccesary context to spoil yourself.
