  Hello friend! Which is better: Vandoren T8 or Otto Link Tone Edge 8*?

  If you mean the standard Otto Link Tone Edge I'd say that Vandoren T8 is better but there are also the New Vintage Tone Edge which could be a nice option and the new EB connoisseur. Didn't try the latter but it gets nice reviews. Always best to try before buying as we're all different.

  The S seems edgy. Thought you played the M more legato, so it sounded more mellow. I've got the S and I like the edginess. Any sax sound is beautiful though. Cheers from Western Australia!

  S+ version has more cut, brightness and focus for sure but I was surprised to find that M version is pretty versatile too. Both sounded good to me. Greetings from Poland 😎🎷

  Why should I? Actually I had two Bellites - one standard and one Custom - both were terrible in my opinion. I also had a Diamond Inlay M7S which was ok but nothing special. Tried hard rubber Custom one and found it way too harsh. Can't remember If I ever tried the small chamber Diamond Inlay. For me Vandoren V16 is much better than any off the shelf Beechler.

  Didn't had a chance to try S90. My current favourite is a stock Yanagisawa 5 as it makes the soprano intonation much more stable.

  I really like mxl for voices, but I notice at sax that doesnt picked up the higher frequencies as good as at2020.

  In the end I went with a Rode NT2A which was better than both of these. More expensive but it was worth it.

  Moim zdaniem Vandoren wygrywa. Jest zdecydowanie bardziej wszechstronny, ma lepszą projekcję dzięki czemu lepiej nadaje się do muzyki współczesnej. Fajny uniwersalny. Mam w planach taki kupić.

  Vandoren był bardzo fajny - jedyną wadą była spora ilość szmerów w dźwięku, którą ciężko było wyeliminować. Przy mocnym graniu nie było większego problemu, natomiast poniżej forte szmery były ewidentne.

  So, having finished watching your video here and one you made 3 years ago, ( How Deep is your Love ). You played the same sax, but used Vandoren mp and reeds. Which is your preference on the mp? Drake or Vandoren ?

  First of all thanks for watching my videos!🙏 When it comes to mouthpieces I always come back to my metal Otto Link Florida. Out of the two I'd probably choose the Drake - I loved the sound and it was more powerful and cleaner sounding than the V16 however the intonation was more stable on Vandoren and it was easier to blend with a section so the choice depends on your needs. Both were easy to play and well made.

  Hi glad you like it. I was playing my Otto Link Florida No USA 7*. Not sure about the reed but it could be a D'addario Jazz Select 3S or V16 2,5. Sound goes through a mic here but without any correction so it's pretty accurate.
