Drop in bed liners are not preaty for preaty trucks, and they don't have self cleaning system. lol. But they are life saver for those rough trucks caring concrete, rocks, planters, lawn mowers, dirt bikes etc

How do you get the spring compression and the bolt that goes through the spring to thread ? Do you do that with the handle in or out on a table if you know what I’m saying?

If I'm doing brakes, I'm go over everything like lubing pins, changing the brake fluid and bleeding the system. If I'm just doing pads, I try to deglaze the rotors with a flap wheel on a grinder. I've even taken out grooves (shade tree turning) with the grinder, the trick for both is to spin the rotors while you hit it with the flap wheel. It's getting harder to find anyone to machine turn a rotor or drum these days with all the cheap overseas replacement parts.

Mine is a 2000 Flex that I've only done the Intake gaskets and timing chain on, and the chain was still fine at 230k miles. Ford made this motor to LAST. Not as good gas mileage as the 2.3/2.5 or power as the 4.0. But it really was a beast of an engine.

i got 2x rangers . both 94.. 1 is 3.0.. the other is 4.0... the 4.0 is built way better ! easier work on .. both got heads re done.. i know!!!! lol.. YES : i KNOW WHAT happened !!!! 2 things will do this ..#1- water to clean valves trick .. but done it too long and motor was HOT! ....#2 - best gas + 2 bottles of octane booster = engine made for 87 ... got 93 + octane booster :>).. also .. i havent seen /but suspect 93 + a TURBO.. stressed it out! ..Rebuild and use lightweight race pistons + rods + oversized valves on exhaust for power + gas mileage.. :>) ..be happy /proud man.

the more weight you put on those shocks the better they ride/work. adding air bags just hampers the shock action and they will bounce the truck like shit. You want a nice ride then add a comfort leaf (3rd leaf) with those shocks.

I replaced the rear pads on my moms highlander and it seams that she blew through them in under 10k miles, sounds like its metal on metal now. fronts are also bad, not sure what brand the previous owner used, but the rear are napa brand ceramic. gona try these. case 10k is nuts for ceramic IF they actually are that.

You put them in the right side up. The bottle should go down, because the seals will always leak a little. It the bottle goes up the will slowly lose their oil over time. Just put some on my Frontier. Much stiffer, but they're making up for the 24 year old leafs.

Hey Mitch, my brake controller harness and plug was actually plugged into a dummy spot on the back of the little cubby box. I was expecting to fish for it and didnt have to. That was the easiest install I've ever done.

I had a 2010 Chrysler Town and Country that notoriously had the too-small 16-inch wheels. Those were too small for the weight of the vehicle, and typically any kind of break pads wore out within 10-20,000 miles....plus incredible dust, screeching, and grabbing. The Powerstop Extreme Z36 rotors and pads on the front solved those problems.

You wore out a set of Power Stop Extreme brakes in 50,000 miles? You are very hard on brakes. Those pads should have lasted a lot longer. You must be a very aggressive driver. You may need to change up your bad driving habits. I am not a judgmental person, I am just commenting on what you said. If that was my vehicle I would be asking myself how is my driving habits causing premature brake wear out so fast. I have a 2016 Ford Escape Titanium 2.0 ecoboost with 150,000km (94,000 miles) and I am still running the original brakes. I am getting ready to install the Power Stop K6478 Z23 Evolution Sport Brake Upgrade Kit on all 4 corners of my SUV. The original brakes still work good with some brake pad material on them but I am not that kind of person. Once I feel my brakes need to be changed I change them. You can not put a dollar amount on your wife and kids lives.

Still rode smooth as a 24 yr old truck could. I think this bed is about the same weight maybe a little heavier then the old bed, tailgate and bumper was so it out some compression on the coils to smooth it out.

It leaks cause it's under vacuum and the gasket itself hardens and flips sideways!!! Better off buying a gasket kit, if you open your old one up, you'll see they're very little that can go wrong with them.
