This is a nice mantra, and I have begun to use it, but wonder this: why pray this when Jesus himself taught us to pray...”abwoon d’bwashmaya...” (Our Father). That’s still my primary prayer.

Any prayer can be used as the tool to bring about the prayer of the heart. However, there are ones that have been passed down as ideal for all sorts of factors. You can certainly use the Our Father if it works for you for this purpose. Some however would find it too long to be able to pray while in conversation. Shorter meaningful prayers can assist in helping people pray throughout the day without ceasing in addition to their regular vocal prayers. I am confident that there are many who have used the Our Father prayer in this way.

I'm so glad that I've quit watching it but also regret the amount of time I wasted watching it when I was oblivious to how wrong it is. I have seen very very disturbing disgusting stuff too along the way. I hate that I have wasted so much time watching it when I could have been doing better things simply because I wasn't taught at a young age not to watch it so it's not exactly my fault.

Do you believe in the Holy Trinity? Also, God favoured our Lady and bestowed a blessing on her like no other. We ask her to join us in prayer to our lord, so that He hears our prayers.

@@antyoussefify No, I don't believe in Trinty. Yes, God favoured Mary and bestowed a blessing on her like no other. He preferred her over all the women of the world due to her piety. He gave her a blessed son to make her and her son a sign for the whole world. Birth of her son is itself a miracle. Both her and her son were obedient to God. Her son Jesus preached that which was revealed to him by God. He is Spirit from God and Word of God which was bestowed upon Mary. He is Prophet, Messenger and Servant of God. He himself is not God. That's why we can't say Mary is mother of God. But He worshipped the ONE God and spent his life to serve God by spreading His message. He was Monotheist and preached Israel that the Lord our God the Lord is ONE. So title of this video is infact wrong. God has also forbidden to make idols or statues. So you are actually worshipping Mary & Jesus by making their statues. And some people ask Mary & saints to solve their problems or they pray to Mary & Jesus instead of God. Did God ever say that He has granted authority to revered righteous people who are dead to listen to prayer of other people and then answer these prayers. No, He hasn't. God Himself listen to our prayers when we ask only Him & worship only Him and when we send blessings in our prayer upon God's chosen & beloved people like Mary, Jesus, Abraham, Moses & Muhammad. Peace be Upon them. That's why we bless God's people but we don't call upon them. We only call upon God for our needs.

In the Quran allah ordered Solomon to build statues in his temple and the tafsir says those are statues of prophets like Abraham and Adam. So don’t Act like you have knowledge of our religion of you don’t even know your own.

Great vocals but this ancient hymn is much better sung in its original language. The Maronite Lebanese language, Arabic. I wonder if it was originally sung in the Aramaic language? If so, it would be so good to hear it... Peace out 👍

There is an Aramaic (syriac) version on youtube. In case you haven't heard it yet, the aramaic version is called "Em Aloho Hanonto". It's really beautiful!
