I've always liked the way this aircraft looks it has a shark look to it. Really was a well crafted design, too bad the allies didn't develop it. But... It is what it is I suppose...

Good question! the kit was around £22, the resin Jumo engine £20 and the Montex mask set about £5, admittedly this was a couple of years ago

Very nice, very comprehensive paint job. She really looks good.......but I wouldn't like to fly her at night without a glare shield! I wonder what determined whether they fitted them or not. 👏🏻👍🏻👌🏻

I'm guessing that they would have been "fitted in the field" and would have been down to pilot preference?

When my Grandpa went to work as a civilian technician for Wright field in Dayton. Ohio back in the late twenties or early thirties, the Peashooter was the F-22 of the day. There were still some WW1 aircraft ( Spad's i think) flying at McCook field. Great looking model, thanks for the video!

What a great idea! I like it! Unfortunatly the linen colour is wrong. It should be redbrownish because the linen was doped 8 times and then doped a final time with silverdope. Even the "doghouse" was covered with linnen to strenghen the wood structure. But anyways, real cool idea!🙂
