classy review
@@everss02 thank you!
I like it's features but has to be the ugliest vessel I've ever seen. But I'd still like one. I think the Quarkens are way nicer looking and more option but to expensive.
Hi, would you know the fuel consumption (L/nm) of the twin merc at cruising speed?
Compro 500 unidades para a marinha do Brasil Rio de Janeiro Brasil
The upholstery. The 28 has used a material that is a bit porous and can accumulate dirt/sunscreen, etc. Is Axopar using the same "fabric" with the Model 29 or more of a "leather like" material? Bedankt.
Hello Bill, as I don't know which modelyear and fabric you have on the Axopar 28, I am not sure. On the later modelyears a material called Silvertex was used. In my experience a great material which is not at all porous and with the right materials, very easy to clean. And fabric should always be protected from Sunscreen by using towels in my opinion. And yes, the 29 also has Silvertex, again in my opinion a great material.
Excellent video. I think I know enough to get one now.
Great review.
Awesome boat!
Foute Muziek !!! Zo verkoop je geen boten!
This is really the best video on the Montauk 210. Casually explaining the benefits of a versatile package. I'm going to look at one today and compare to the Dauntless and GW 216.
Thank you Wes, we’re happy that you enjoyed it. And your future Whaler of course!
@@Kemperswatersport Its a tough call, all three boats are great but I feel the 22 Dauntless is very expensive for what it is. So going with the GW 216 or the Montauk 210.
What is the lead time from ordering a 29 to delivery to the US?
Hi Bill, please check with your local dealer, we only sell to people using their Axopar in The Netherlands or Belgium.
Served in the U.S. coast guard we had a 24ft whaler at my unit, it was a good boat but would definitely beat you up in any kinda chop having said that I would still get underway on one any day of the week.
Hi Quincy, lucky you, being on a 24 ft Whaler and calling that working ;) Please keep following our channel, there are plans to take the same half Whaler across the Northsea from Belgium to London.
@@Kemperswatersport good luck to ya brotha make sure to bring the ole reliable Epirb with ya.
Wow!
You can’t beat a Boston Whaler…
Hi Ognir, you're so right, they are great. I've never in all these had a customer that was unhappy with his Whaler. A true icon I believe.
What about Med Pack, Table inside?
Hi there, thank you for your question. The Med Pack is not available yet, I do feel it might be for 2025, the same applies to the Brabus Line. The table inside is available.
Great video, thank you. A question regarding the engine options. For regular transport of 6 people across 50 miles of open sea would you opt for the single V8 or the twin V6, and why? No other requirements for the boat, Thank you
Hi Adam, you're most welcome of course. Thank you for your question, I think it is best if you talk to your dealer about this as I don;t know where you do your boating. Here in The Netherlands I would definitely say Twin V6, mainly for safety reasons. Also, it makes the boat a bit more "playful". The V8's however are smoother since they have AMS (advanced mid section), and have less vibration. Fuel consumption with a single V8 is probably slightly lower than with twins. But again, here on the Northsea, 50 Miles, twin, for sure.
Great job
Okay 👍 that was fun 🤩
WOW that would be a fun 🤩 ride on that boat 🚤
Was wäre denn Ihr äußerster Preis dafür?
Where is the location during the video? thx
Hello Steve, it is on a lake called "Westeinderplassen", see maps.app.goo.gl/nBTw7cPzeAUnwvGx6 We have an Axopar X Agapi Boat Club also, if you become a member, you can enjoy our area, which is really close to Amsterdam also.
Still waiting on a solid roof option
Hi there, what do you mean with a "solid roof"? And why? You really don't have to open the roof if you don't want to. And it is well insulated, doesn't leak at all, one could see it as an added bonus.
@@Kemperswatersport Not practical For many user, even luxury Lea sure users, and too easily broken into. Also a solid top is better for accessories without need to mount On rails. Just needs a solid roof option with small manually slider sunroof.
Axopar boats are awesome! There’s only one thing I think could be added to make the boat more awesome. So armrest are not needed on any boat but it would be cool/nice to have an arm rest for the captain and co-captain seats. My parents used to have a 2014 31 foot renegade boat and it had twin 300 motors on the back. It was not much longer but it went 15 miles an hour faster. Which was cool but anyways back to the seats. It had arm rest for the pilot and co-pilot. It was not needed but they were there. Just in case your arms get tired and need to rest lol.
It’s always nice to see a Grand Banks Classic, this one is in very good condition. I like the fact it’s not cluttered and has the open fly bridge. From what I could make out this one is a single engine version so probably a Ford Lehman engine, they are renown for being very reliable and easy to work on. There’s nothing on here not to like, what could be better?
Hi there, thank you for your comment. This video was made 8 years ago when we sold this Grand Banks 36 Classic via our brokerage. And yes, it was a nice and timeless classic, they are still quite populair with many boaters. This one had twin Ford Lehman diesel engines, the new owner still is enjoying it in the Dutch waterways.

💞Wow💛💛💛💛🧡💛💛💛
Pure magic!
Sick looking boat..
So where's Sea Ray's towable pilothouse cruisers like Bayliner's new Trophys & Explorer models ? Will Sea Ray offer a small towable pilothouse cruiser with heat and air ? Bayliner appears to be way ahead of Sea Ray at this point and both companies are owned by Bruinswick . Strange .
Wat een beauty!
What an amateur
Thank you for your remark Robert Thomas Jones. The video is 6 years old, I think we have improved in the meantime. If you do have any suggestions however on how we can improve our videos, that would be greatly appreciated. I must say though that I find it a bit funny to read your comment right above the one of David M. Wood 🙂 The good news is that you really don't have to subscribe to our channel, the disadvantage of that being that you will miss out on our "10.000 followers Half Whaler Tour" which we have planned for this summer. Warm regards from a small but happy Dutch boat dealer in The Netherlands, have a great boating season! Bart Kempers

Axopar makes top quality boats designed for cold climates and rough water so using them in southern climates would make them feel very very comfortable
What about the slide system? The rail had some sharp edges at the end, did they fix it?
When the separate video of SLX 260 is coming out? I would like to know more about the differences between 250 and 260 🚤
Hi there! Please keep following our channel, we will of course be making a full review video on the Sea Ray SLX 260. Our first boat will soon arrive at our dealership but we also need some nice spring weather!
@@KemperswatersportOkay, I will! Perhaps I misunderstood because I thought you would do a separate presentation of 260 from Boot Dusseldorf.
@@Siniparta Yes, that was indeed the original plan, but since Sea Ray was planning to bring one to us, we preferred to make a full review, by taking the boat out on the water. I haven't heard yet when nr 1 is coming though.
Father in law just got a 2021. Thanks for the in depth review!
You're most welcome Anson, I am glad you liked the video. And congratulations on the SPX 210, I wish you lots of fun with it!
Great boat! What about fuel consumption and cruising speed?
Hi Frederico, we have all the data available, please contact our sales department via email and we will send it to you.
Ponha sal na sanita.
Cool boat, love the additional bow seating just behind the windshield.
Is there a table mount aft if the wet bar or aft bench is selected?
I don't see it on the pricelist yet (found here www.axopar.com/range/axopar-29-xc-cross-cabin/). I think in the early stages of speeding up production, the number of available options may be limited. We as a dealer however can easily install a table, and I'm sure there are many other dealers, if not all, who can do the same.
Really nice boat. Thanks for showing us. Greg
I really appreciate your videos. I purchased a 28 because of them. I have since sold it because of quality and use issues. I will be in Amsterdam in May and would look forward to meeting you in person.
Hi John, sorry for the late reply but I would be honored, you are very welcome. Please do check via email if I am available at the time of your visit. Around that time, we will have a new Axopar 29 XC Cross Cabin. Or perhaps a used 37...
@@Kemperswatersport will ring you up when in Amsterdam for my daughters wedding mid May. Will make an effort to come visit your impressive facilities. John
Also, what’s the anticipated top speed for the new v10 350 and 400?
I don’t know yet Dave, sorry. The boat is really new and I don’t have all the answers yet. I would suggest staying in touch with your dealer, he should be able to keep you informed.
I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THE BOAT, EXCEPT THAT NASTY BLACK RUB RAIL, THE UGLY TRIANGULAR BLUE SEAT COVERS (COME ON-tHEY HAVE TO TALK TO BRABUS AND GET SOME STYLING HELP OR GO TO ADRENILINE OR MTI BOATS AND GET SOMETHING THAT ADDS TO THE BOAT) ITS LIKE A SUPERMODEL WITHOUT HER MAKEUP. THE LAST THING THEY HAVE TO DO IS PLEASE!!!! PLEASE!!! PLEASE!!! RATE THE BOATS FOR TWIN 250HP MOTORS. THE 28 CABIN WAS JUST TO SLOW. WE NEED TO GO FASTER IN THE USA. THE BRABUS BOATS SHOULD BE RATED WITH TWIN 300HP MOTORS TO MATCH THE NEW 1000HP 37 FOOTERS. THE ONLY OTHER THING IS THE PRICE. WITH ALL THE OPTIONS, IT'S GETTING TOO CRAZY TO HAVE MANY SALES IN THE USA, ESPECIALLY UP BY US IN NEW YORK. BY THE TIME YOU PAY FOR IMPORT, YOU CAN GET A BETTER BOAT THAT'S MADE IN THE USA.OTHER THAN THAT, THE BOAT LOOKS AMAZING! I LOVE THE USE OF SPACE AND THE CHANGES, ESPECIALLY IN THE NOSE OF THE BOAT WITH THE SUN PAD AND THE NEW FRONT CABIN. ID LOVE TO SEE IT A LITTLE MORE FANCY IN THE CABINS WITH SOME CARBON OR BLACK SHELVING. ALSO, I WOULD HOPE THAT IT HAS AC. THANKS SO MUCH FOR THE VIDEO. IF ALL GOES WEEL AND THOSE CHANGES ARE MADE, I WILL BE BUYING ONE AS SOON AS IT COMES OUT! OH, ALSO IF THEY WOULD MAKE A POWDER BLUE OR GRAY HULL, THAT BE COOL.
Thanks for taking the time to do the stream!
You're most welcome Walter!
