Can you do this with Bow and arrow + Mimic tear with hot swaping to sibirs vow constantly attracting agro of Boss and your mimic just arrows down the Boss .. especially if equiped with fire or poison arrows since mimic has infinite arrows ?

I belive the lore implies that the scarlet rot has taken her eyesight along with other appendages which kinda explains somewhat why she can't see. When you face and attack her she uses her senses to react. Not an Elden Ring lore historian so please don't crucify me if I'm wrong.
yeah noticed that whit other boss also cant remember the name but there 1 that rush you every time you try to heal but if you dodge or block he mostly just walk and follow you
It doesn't work for me in 1.12. I always line up the view cone the same way so she is below the word 'Malenia'. She doesn't dodge once in phase 1 but as soon as phase 2 starts she dodges the shots even though they're lined up the same.

Shabriri's woe does work with every spirit ash! It's just that they didn't really explain it well in the description, leading to a TON of misunderstandings. Shabriri's woe doesn't "constantly pull" enemy aggression - It only lowers the threshold for enemies to target you, meaning that pulling aggro is a LOT easier. Bone darts or an off-hand crossbow are still required to pull aggro from range (on a melee build) but with shabriri's woe you'll use a lot less darts/bolts to do it.
It never helped with Latenna, and it doesn't improve the strategy in any significant way. Regardless if it worked, that still makes it redundant. I don't need to draw agro easily, I either have to draw it for a short time or constantly. If it's for a short time, it becomes useless once they're out of range of Latenna. If it's constantly, I'm not risking losing agro anyway. In other words, I didn't want to deal with something so intermittent so I didn't bother with it.
@@snunpai Idk, I got a good amount of use out of it when I was using latenna, but then again, I was actually able to attack during the fight. There's just a lot of misinformation about this talisman, thanks for replying though!

Yeah but I'm counting after those frames wear off. Those attacks while he's standing still make all the difference. If you watch both the grabs, you'll see I don't start counting until the volley starts doing damage. It also was just enough to get the meteor to trigger and to finish him off. He could have used another AoE attack instead of either one of those grabs and ended my run.

I'm doing a pacifist run and I used Latenna for Greyoll. It's a shame that you didn't caught on the safe spot at the left side over the rot fungus because that made really easy
That's good to know! The thing about recording is if Latenna gets the kill soon after being hit, I can't revive the boss to try another safe spot. It was very much "oh this spot works well enough, I'll go with it."

I just used the nature bowman dude, didn’t cheese him or anything but that dude is a straight up tank somehow lives like 8 or so hits off this guy and is able to pump decent damage while I aggro him. Took me about an hour or so but I did learn his move set, it was kind of a fun boss IMO other than some timing things I have an issue with lol.
I'm not a fan of his movement/animations. They're unintuitive and only serve to prey on your natural reaction to what you see. For example, the move I hate the most is when he strafes left or right and does a delayed wide swing. The camera gets weird, he can dead angle your shield, and your rolling is off. I actually hate the putrescent knight for the same reason.

Just wanted to confirm this still works! I took me quite a few tries, but the main point is you have to keep the attention on you and also not get killed lol I used lightning bolt and then arrows when I ran out of fp. Once he’s at the door I would hide behind the first pillars, his attacks will break them but if you’re crouching they still work. Just keep on drawing his attention as he starts walking backwards.

If you don't have the stat requirements to use the fingerprint stone shield how is it that your stamina doesn't drop like crazy when radahn hits you?
2-handing the shield gives me 50% more strength. If you have at least 32 STR, you can get 16 from 2-handing for the required 48 STR. 2-handing will also increase the guard boost when blocking (stamina usage, not damage negation). You could potentially be a Dex build with 11 Strength, get +21 STR using gear, and actually meet the 32 STR to then 2-hand the Fingerprint shield.
@@snunpai Ohh, okay. Regarding the rest of your setup, what's the purpose behind equipping the great knife +24 and the Icon shield?
The knife is just light, purely for Raptor of the Mist to dodge the lasers during meteor. Any weapon works. The Icon Shield provides Health Regen even if worn on the back so it helps to heal the chip damage while making use of that offhand slot.
I seriously want them to rework this. When I first got this talisman, I imagined that enemies would have some aggro priority that I would be at the top of in any circumstance, and that only multiple attacks from others would change their aggro target. This, and deathblight not working on most enemies are two things that really annoyed me about elden ring. Its just not fun to discover boring shit like that.
You would love the Red-eye Ring in Dark Souls 2. That thing works past what it's advertised. I've only seen agro drop off the person wearing it twice in my history of playing Dark Souls 2 (800 hours~).

I dunno! I'll have to try him but I imagine his range is the only weakness for this fight. He probably wrecks everywhere else.
When I tell somebody on stream that I usually go to Caelid for the dragon and Dectus Right Piece before starting my run proper, I see the same comments. “Never go to Caelid before you hit RL60-70. It’s too dangerous.” So I start a new character, grab a bleed weapon + gold fowlfoot, then run straight to Caelid before ever putting a point in my stats and show them it’s not too dangerous. I’m really starting to wonder if calls of “Skill Issue” should be said more seriously instead of in the usual joking manner. People who supposedly have been playing for hundreds of hours still can’t seem to make it to Fort Farroth without dying early game.
I think it's more knowledge if anything. It's often the case of playing smarter and not harder. I like doing higher level areas first as well because you have nothing to lose early (Catacombs in DS1 for example). Caelid lets you get away with encounters if you play around it. Fort Faroth, Deathrite Bird, the Dragons, the Avatars, and even Black Blade Kindred can all be done cleverly without levels. Exceptions would be like the Godskin Apostle in the tower because that's just a straight up fight. I think anyone can do it if they learn, they just haven't had the exposure to see the value or get comfortable doing it. I like going to Volcano Manor and Mohg's Palace before starting my runs proper, similar to what you do.
@@snunpai Agreed. Hopefully if nothing else comes out of showing people that it can be done other than it makes them more willing to try and learn, I’m happy with it. If not, that’s okay to. Elden Ring really does give you so many ways to approach challenges. Perhaps showing people these little ins and outs may give those who gave up on it because of the difficulty a better idea of how to tackle the challenge and bring them back to the game to try again. Elden Ring is an awesome game.
So, a little tip for the meteor in Phase 2, there’s a glitch where if you jump 4 times in quick succession, he’s just lands on top of you with no explosion. Pretty neat

Hello, I know I’m here late, but i was wondering why you decided on briar+ dew talisman instead of Shabriri’s Woe and more tanky gauntlets?
Shabriri's Woe doesn't work for Latenna from what I've seen. It's also redundant because agro isn't relevant when she's too far away to be targeted. You only need to draw agro to lure bosses far away enough. Throwing knives are an amazing way to take agro if the boss gets close to Latenna. Briar is for the damage on roll, so dodging naturally draws agro as you avoid damage. It's also part of the pacifist idea, as it does damage without attacking (Technicality I know but that's the point). The gloves are the easiest slot to give up for it.
Latenna is good, no doubts. However, have you tried Hewg?

I think you can 'break' Radahn's AI to not immediately aggro on you if you use Assassin's Gambit before entering his arena. This ought to make summoning any spirit ashes much easier.
