  its crazy how influential W3 has been to this current new wave of rts games - all of them have creeps and neutral buildings and W3 set the standard for those mechanics

  Very true, as well as a hero per faction. I think it’s interesting how each game is trying to pull from SC2 and WC3 and then add a twist

  visually and conceptually(artwise) i find this game more appealing than current stormgate and a bit simmilar to zerospace(not a bad thing in my book)

  tbo not a fan of the folding alt button for alternative options, id rather have all things of certain category in the same window , espetially abilityes of army units

  @@Searibox I don’t disagree, it feels weird and at times makes the buildings hard to understand what does what and you miss units/tech/etc because of it. It’s getting a lot of feedback on the discord

  For what it's worth, the design goals of the hotkey system was to cram everything into the left 4 columns of the keyboard, and have them be accessable at all times. There's just not a lot of space to do that without several pages.

  Hey man love the videos. I’ve been playing AOE 4 since release and just got my friends into it and it’s been a blast. We’ve been having fun and doing good but we’re trying to break through to plat. Would love a video on teamwork and team games. Keep up the good lessons.

  thank you so much, the stuff I have to work on is a lot more obvious now. my macro has always been like that but for whatever reason it was hard for me to see where the problems were on my own haha. also, I probably should have mentioned I'm really inexperienced with Ottomans and how their units and bonuses work and that definitely showed with my build order and whatnot, but since I want to play them more I wanted to use an Ottoman game also the queueing tons of villagers is a bad habit that stuck while I was first learning the game, because I kept forgetting to have villagers in queue so I was like "if I have 10 in queue I'll never forget" lol, it's something I'm trying to stop

  @@nodd6668 usually start 9 pm central time (CDT) on every weekday and sometimes weekends (but weekends are usually family focused time)

  Couldve also put the vills in the tc then fight with the archers near tc, he just threw his entire army twice

  @@moonboy2k185 actually it’s better to do archers, vills would have reduced my eco by a significant amount, while archers in tc protects them for fights later and they are doing damage the whole time

  so u are telling me cistern is basically an aoe area of Imperial Officer? i thought Chinese is the ultimate late game civ, no other civ can beat Chinese in ultra late game. So if enemy dont attack = I win. Then he masses cataphract, all my spearmen died faster than villager. He just mowed my whole empire. At least now I get to know about the other civs without buying the dlc, thanks for the video!

  Is foreign engineering school really that good? The other imp landmark basically increases your eco by 1/3 and you can still spend the olive oil on mercs

  u gain the unique aspects of each merc unit (usually individual technologies only available to that units civ) which can in turn boost your units in combat, so yes foreign engineering company is always no 1
