james stillwell remained completely unharmed throughout the duration of the comic book, hughie broke up with starlight because he could never get over her sexual assault, butcher killed the entire team apart from hughie, before this final fight hughie did a bunch of disgusting shit to get stronger but still got folded like clean laundry (which isnt to say hughie was ever good at fighting, he didnt like it and was cannononically the weakest link in the team it throughout the duration of the comic book) and homelander is killed offscreen.. by black noir. what a fucking joke. also the guy who killed butcher's dog is never explicitly revealed. it's basically like re-reading the same 3 arcs for like 80 issues plus herogasm which was also dogshit in the comic book. the only superhero that comes close to being morally redeemable other than starlight is maeve but even that's a bit of a stretch. the deep is also chill but he gets 0 time in the comic book, not even getting a chance to fight once lol. tl;dr: read invincible if you want the superhero trope picked apart. this is a manifesto

you are right. This is from the continuation of the watchmen comicbook called Doomsday clock. The Rorschach in it is a new guy and Dr Manhattan left the watchmen universe to the dcu.I suggest you give it read
The Weapon X program has many tragic stories on mutant kind but most on Wolverine and that leaves to wonder about the other mutants & it’s agents like Deadpool. Deadpool isn’t talked about much in the comics but him joining the program even though it came with perks given to him and seeing the dark side of things is dramatic.

Why, I think it was cool. My only complaints was the discontinuity in time. Every new issue started at a different time, it was kinda confusing
@@NoContextComics That one was one of the issues. For me it was the over all style. It was a super drawn out conspiracy which ended with the remaining super powered beings fighting to the death with the Sentinels, they also team up with the human who was working for the Sentinels, they send logans mind back in time to try to prevent the entire process only to have that thwarted by the main villain who was hiding in the shadows, I can't remember his name. The story didn't follow any continuity, it was like an odd one off.
I identify with Rogue, and my BF with Gambit, and this hurts a little.
