I hope Bangladesh makes coins again as banknotes like 2 to 10 taka can quickly wear and tear for less than a year.
Bangladesh Bank last minted coins in 2012. And coins are still very common even thirty years ago coins are now very common. Bangladesh Bank prints 10 to 1000 Tk notes every year but very few 5 Tk notes are printed every year and 2 Tk notes are also printed in very limited numbers.

Beautiful. My husband was the manager of the Bedford Hotel fifty years ago! We use to swim in the Tavy river behind the hotel on a hot day. Not too sure we’d do it now!
The church is the quietest of all places you depicted. Yesterday, I celebrated my 6th anniversary of my coin and banknote collecting, but the coins that I purchased yesterday are mostly common ones, but still new yearsadded.

I think for the coins in your country, still the 50 pence with the portrait of the current king of the UK and the Commonwealth entered into circulation.
There are 3 50p coins featuring King Charles now in UK circulation, they are the Queen Elizabeth memorial coin from 2022, the coronation coin from 2023, and the definitive 50p with the fish on which is actually the rarest of the three.

what a beauty
I was there in '98/99 and in 20/21. Time of second lockdown ?. I remember years ago there was a crystal shop on the other side of the town center clock ? Fishpool street is absolutely beautiful. I imagined the people coming out of theyre houses and gettin on theyre horse and carts. The houses are second to none, even looking at the estate agents houses are an eye opener and the antique stalls have beautiful items. Everything about here is fantastic.
