When Saudi Arabia scored the first stoppage time goal, he said "Saudi Arabia has got a playoff with New Zealand." But the game wasn't over, as unlikely as it was for Bahrain. Why not just say "Saudi Arabia is within a couple of minutes with a playoff from New Zealand?" Another thing that pisses me off about british/australian commentators.

Peseiro: Entrenador de Arabia Saudi para las eliminatorias 2010 no pudo conseguir la clasificacion y quedo eliminado a manos de Bahrein en el último minuto. Cielos, la verdad no creo que Venezuela tampoco logre tal hazaña de llegar al repechaje y mucho menos clasificar a Catar 2022, ojala ocurra un milagro como fue el caso de Perú en 2018 y no perder las esperanzas. Estamos muy abajo en la tabla y necesitamos puntos urgentes :( Voy a tener fe en ti Peseiro, espero que hagas un buen trabajo con Venezuela; sino tenemos que tirar la toalla y nunca decirle "Hola" al mundial.

I remember watching this game as it was vitally important match and when they scored I went out celebrating after a while I realised they just scored the equaliser

As an Iranian, I enjoyed not seeing both teams go to the World Cup because Saudi Arabia deliberately drew with North Korea to eliminate Iran. Bahrain cowardly beat Iran in Manama in 2002, and Bahraini players happily carried the Saudi flag after the game.
