Brilliant video Gary... Between this and the EGR video - they are gold... The 'yap yap yap' noise you play at the end is one of the faults i have along with a low fuel rail pressure which i have been chasing to no avail. Car conks out on idle and when driving. Im about to jump in with EGR and turbo replacement... i think... but nice if i could sort the fuel rail pressure first before committing to turbo

Hi Gary , thanks for taking the time in presenting the videos, I have a set fitted by a previous owner, but without instructions on how they work (in which mode ) and I thought they didn't work so I taped up the lenses for MOT purposes . I had thought of buying another set just to get hold of the fitting instructions to see if I had a faulty loom etc as they're relatively cheap with discount on ebay but I never knew how much work went into fitting the kit . I'll revisit this now that I've seen your videos , now with a better understanding of how they're e fitted, Thanks

Hi Jack. Mine was vibrating / rattling particularly when I had the sound system up loud 🤣 however I only noticed it when I walked round the back of the car. Don’t think I heard it in the cabin. Anyhow if you lie under the back of the car the heat shield is very easy to see and reach above the exhaust. If you push it up you will quickly find out if it’s loose. If the fixings have failed it will have dropped. Hope that helps.

  • @garyredman642

Hi Terry I can confirm you don’t have to take the bumper off to change the foglight bulbs. You remove the plastic surround and the full fog light fitting (as per my video) and unclip the power cable. The bulb holder (the bit the power cable connects to) then twists to unlock and you then withdraw this with the bulb.
