Hi Miah, Just found this Streaming Video you did. Good to see you're back at it. Your 720P looks as good or better than many other's 1080P Streams. And your 1080P up loads to your Channel look even better. Really Nice !! Looks like you're able to Record 1080P and Stream in 720P at the same time. Very Nice. I'm considering trying Live Streaming the KCRW's Bouts, but have been told the Venue's WiFi isn't strong enough. If you're willing, would you share with me what Equipment and Softwear you're using, and which Host you're using. I've seen a very wide range of both in use - But I want to stay simple, as like you, I'm a one person operation. Thanks in advance for any Info you're willing to pass along. By the way, which DLSR were you using for the Sur5al 2024 Day 2 ground view Video? Thanks Again. SkaterVideoGuy

Hi Miah, Great to see you're back. Nice Bout. Nice Rink & Rotunda Floor. Only one of our 8 Rinks has the Rotunda - Great Floors. KCRW just restarted with 3 new Teams and have returned to the 3K Seat Memorial Hall. Now on Full Battery Power, and based on what I've seen you're doing, I've changed up my Shooting Position POV to one similar to your's (from the 2nd Corner). Like it much better than the 2 Floors Up - Center Floor over looking POV - I was doing before at the Hall. Thank You ! You do have Influence ! Hi Miah, For my $$, Your Videos with your iPhone are better than most all of the Vids put out by the WFTDA. Better Clarity and POV. Much more enjoyable to watch. Keep it UP !

I'll be reuploading the previous video because the software I was using was darkening my videos without me knowing on my 13pro. I fixed the issue. This video was shot with an iphone 8plus.

Hi Miah, Excellent POV for this Venue. Great Cam height. Very easy to see all the Players and their moves. Really nice. If you're able to record in 1080P 60fps, that would reduce the motion blur on the faster/quicker movements. Keep up your great work ! SkaterVideoGuy

This video is available in 1080p depending on how you watch it. If opened with the app or on a pc the 1080p option is available. Thanks for the compliment. :)

Another thing as well. HD doesn't become available directly after upload. KZread publishes the low quality video while it processes the HD. So there could be a delay on its availability in that case.

Hi Miah, I'm guessing you're somewhat new to the Video world. I've been at it for 48yrs, and Derby for the last 9. The 1080P you're using is using 30fps. If you change up your Camera to do 60fps, you'll get less motion blur caused by the slower Frames Per Second. This is important for fast paced Derby. If you'll let me know which Cam and which Video Processing program you're using, I can give you other suggestions that might help improve your Videos going to KZread. Here are two recent samples of my Videography: kzread.info/dash/bejne/gJVrrteMfqbRoc4.html Watch it carefully to see the Motion Blur - it's done in 4K 30fps. This next one is done in 60fps with less Motion Blur. kzread.info/dash/bejne/o6alkrx8mavRps4.html This one is also Rendered out at 2K 60fps - from 1080P 60fps, which gets you better looking Video on KZread. If you notice, my Cam is not as high as your's, but it is at 7'5", while I sit in a chair watching a 16" Monitor, with a Cam Remote in one hand and the Video Head Control arm in the other. I aways wait for KZread to finish it's processing before I make it Public. Please keep doing and improving your Videos, Roller Derby needs it. Everybody WINS ! Having watched Banked Track Roller Derby on TV since the early 1960's, Roller Skating from 1953 thru 2019 myself, doing Videography for 48yrs., and Roller Derby Videography since 2014 - the following is some of what I've learned to answer that question. Some Benefits of Providing Video available for the Public: The more Video Exposure that Roller Derby gets out to the Public, the more Public involvement Roller Derby may experience, and the larger the Derby Fan Base may become. KZread seems to be the most used Public Video site for Sports related events. In addition to letting folks know about your KZread Channel on all the Internet Social Platforms you may be on, Announcing the Videos' Availability at each Bout, can encourage Viewership. Folks interested in Roller Derby can watch past Bouts, if they were unable to attend the Live Bouts. Folks may be enticed/encouraged to attend the Live Bouts for greater Bout Attendance. Folks may be enticed/encouraged to get involved with Derby - as Players, Coaches, Volunteers, Etc. Folks in other Businesses/Groups may be enticed and encouraged to join in with, and/or support, the Derby Folks in promoting good Local Causes and/or National Causes. Some Benefits of Having and Using Video for Roller Derby Players and Teams: Creating Video Documentation of Derby Teams and Players, showing their Progress over time. Many folks simply learn many Skills quicker and better, when they can see themselves “In Action”. Players and Teams can review their Bouts as often as they desire - for re-examining, re-assessing, learning from them, and creating Training geared towards improving the performance of the Individual Players and of the Teams as a whole. Players can show their Children, Relatives and Friends, what Role they play on the Derby Team. In the Future, they can show others what they did when they were younger. The Better Quality of Videography (1) and the Better Quality of Video Images uploaded in 1080p60 up to 4K (2), will make a big difference in how all the suggestions above can be experienced, as the Best Quality Video Images can then be displayed on all Screen sizes. HI Miah, This Vid and the one 6 Vids back (with the Ohio Valley Roller Derby) are the best POV Videos you've done to date. Nice to see as much of the Track and Skaters as possible. I'm impressed that you Derby, Photog, and do the Video too. Doing Derby Videography for the last 10yrs, I most always have two Photogs doing photos, and one of them is also a Derby girl. Being a One Person Show is a tough gig. More power to You. Keep up your good work. If you might be interested, I could give you a few pointers that may improve your Video's and Uploads to KZread.
