This is amazing, thanks for posting!
This song intrigued me as a 10 year old. Storytelling at its best. History replete in each verse, with difficult vocabulary. Enriching to a a young mind. Thank you Joe.

I cant go with the copied thing. Both bands are tremendous on their own and I get a different vibe for each.
Towards then end of the show John mentions the No Nuke Rally which was upcoming in Washington DC on May 6, 1979, he said "next Sunday" so I think the source of this recording was late April or early May 1979. Perhaps broadcasted in Sept '79 ? Great show and thank you! Peace from Woodstock NY
My hero and idol Stevie Wonder aka THE God of ALL Music. !!!
Great rocking version of Sir Patrick Spens at the end of the recording

Chaka was fierce--a force of nature back then--but Tony Maiden was really good too. You really hear him here and he totally holds his own

Love the first song... this is a good album. I was born in the wrong decade. Thank you for uploading this.
Since I was a kid in the 70's, I would've love to been an adult in the 70's, with places to go and see a performance. All they needed was music, while now these kids have guns and fake and laced drugs.
A few of the songs I hear ladies, who were they?
😮❤
THEY NEEDA BIOPIC MOVIE ⭐️🐐
👍🏾👍🏾
I can go for days listening to Earth, Wind & Fire. These guys are so great. 👍🏼
That band was right on their heels the show was more than fantastic . Words cannot express how fantastic they are.
Incredible.
They should've been inducted a long time ago. If it were up to their peers; (fellow musicians) and not some committee, they would be in the Hall today.
The King stole the show as usual.
I saw and heard him perform in Durban, South Africa in August, 1957 - an experience I'll never forget...
I saw this live back in the day.The percussion breakdown was epic.Everyone had a fantastic solo👈🏽
