Very uninformed comment....not even sure what it means. What do you mean by "perfect conditions"? What do you mean by "real track cars"? Lots of ambiguity in your comment. If you don't like Mustangs or Hellcats, then just say so & move on. Trying to imply something thats false with no explanation just makes you sound clueless.

First off, ANY lap on the Ring, in ANY vehicle, is ANY thing but "boring". Second, the car has paddle shifters to manually shift the car, but since I had very limited experience both driving this hard & on this track (& trying to pay attention to what my instructor was telling me), to avoid "information overload", I left it in auto - the car is much smarter than I am. Oh, & the brakes were fine...

This was my 5th session on this track (2nd of the day). I have upgraded the brakes to DBA5000 rotor rings up front with Hawk Street pads, steel braided lines & BG DOT 4.0 fluid. First time I ran it here, it was really hot (110f) but I wasn't pushing the car too hard since it was my first time - so no fade at all. This second time I had more seat time here & knew the drive lines a little better, so I was going a lot harder. No brake fade at all in the first session, then in this, the second session, I started to feel it - mainly going through the tight "rattle snake" section at the end of the long back stretch. I changed up my braking line & they came back to me, but then I started having fun w/the BMW - I should have just passed him vs staying behind & following him. Afterwards I figured out it was my brake fluid. The BG fluid is a DOT 4, but it has a lower boil temp than the Castrol Race fluid, which I have since switched to. That should help me out, but my overall problem is my driving skills have finally reached the limits of what the car can do on a tight track like this. It's either do some major mods to it (which I don't really want to do) or go to a more open track (like COTA) where I don't need the brakes as much. Thanx for watching!

Even on the day back in June of '22 when it was in the 100's (track temp prob around 110) she ran with no issues (oil, coolant, trans - all stayed right where they are supposed to be). For a Charger to do 10 minutes top speed racing on something like the Nürburgring, obviously the car is not stock, as it would be too dangerous. Could you provide a quick short list of necessary adjustments, changes to the car? Do you have a handling kit? Front rear tower braces, thicker sway bars? Drilled slotted discs? Michelin tires? How do you keep the oil at a bearable temperature? Thanks!

Obviously, you don't know much about German cars (or Dodge's quality). BMW's, Merc's & Audi's have just as many "known issues" as Ford, Chevy & Dodge (just ask any German). As far as the Hellcat goes, 6 Nurburgring Laps, dozen or so 1/4mi runs, literally HOURS of high speed Autobahn driving (20k miles or so), 6 road course sessions & a 120mi road race all under her belt.
