There's also hollow stem and sodium filled valves in useage by the OEM's the Chevy LS3 motor has a hollow stem intake valve that measures in @ 89 grams while the L-92 "Truck Motor" has 112gram weight for it's same dimension intake valve. HUGE difference on valve control between those 2 weights.

great valve information presented here. You might want to touch on valve springs next, one of the most overlooked parts in the engine. I sure do get a lot of work from other shops when they get spring pressure, installed height, etc... wrong.
