    The lack of sweary colouring pages in the last few months is disappointing, but that haiku almost makes up for it.

    That’s really cool! All the bits look right, apart from the coffee ‘beans’, which are slightly on the giant size for the scale 😹😹 but really add to the build and the cuteness. I love it. Looking forward to the toaster next 😎🍞☕️🥐 I am impressed that a KMart brand did such a good job with the quality. A lot of my cheaper brick buys come in general bags and a page of instructions- some come in several bags, but not sorted by step. Must be more expensive to sort and bag that way. Maybe the bagging and the instructions are done completely separately 😹😹😎🧩📝😻😻

    That is so cute. It's a bit smaller than I thought it was going to be. I can't believe how many bricks went into making something so teeny tiny. That tiny drawer of beans made me giggle. They really did put an effort into getting all of the details correct.

    Fabulous stuff😹 ouchie!😻 the rug hooking colouring book is wonderful. Loved all the skin tones, the buffalo was stunning. It looked like an indigenous spider in those colours and with the patterns on the legs. Ramen is fun. The yellow and green is the colours of our floral emblem, the Golden Wattle. Why the new Governor General had sprig on her top. I thought the red and gold lanterns really popped. Loved the Cats and Cat Cafes. Do the cat line drawings on the back of the pages make a flippy moving image? Really loved the spotty cat and cottage in the spookyjapancats reel. I must get better on my instagram use! I bought this Book Nook Kit too. I also had a problem with the fish flag. I doesn't ripped it apart but glued it a bit to low so I had to remove it again so that I was able to glue the roof on. And I also put the exact same side panel on the wrong side.... but I managed to get it loose again and switch both panels them ... thankfully. But I had no problem with the back panel but I haden't it glued to the sides and maybe it was able to move a bit forward so that the back piece fits? In the handbook (Step 49) you can see it sits further front. But the bottom part of your Book Nook seems to fit nicely - really strange that the top part sticks out. But all in all it's a beautiful kit and you bring it to shine despite the mistakes. Love the wabi-sabi aesthetics... never heard of that before. Thanks for sharing this video with us!

  • @MiddleAgedGeekGrrrl
    @MiddleAgedGeekGrrrl16 күн бұрын

    You are welcome! Interesting you did the same side panels the wrong way around too. Maybe the instruction book is not that clear for those particular pieces. Let's go with that! Yeah, the back panel part is a mystery. I forced it on in the end and it is sort of flush now, but where I have it on the shelf, you can't see the back panel so it doesn't matter as much. I live by wabi-sabi, it is such a great way to think when making craft. Thanks for watching ❤🤓.

    I think it looks great Sally. 😸😻🌸🌸 Very Sakura. 🌸 obviously very intricate. The only hint I have is to check the diagrams several times before gluing- which I’m sure you did - and then just accept that mistakes happen, and usually no one will notice unless you point it out. Of course you do that in the video, but once it is on display just point out the positives. 😎😎 It looks wonderfull all lit up - great job with the electrics. Hope the antibiotics are working. I have a couple of Sakura projects with wood, glue, wires, strange craft stuff, etc. Hope I do as well as you - no camera setup so the swearing will be my secret 😹😹😹🎏🎏

    I have a Sakura noodle bar - a small room type build of a Japanese noodle bar with Sakura tree over the top. Wood, paper, glue, fluffy modelling stuff, etc. I also have a scene in a small tin with mini bears, train and Sakura. Similar construction to first one. Then I have a brick build music box with Sakura tree - I have paused as every time I attempt to attach all the branches I detach others! Then I have the larger brick build train station with Sakura tree - yet to start that one. Try going to your retailer of choice and search Sakura- you should get wide range of choices. Can also add words such as diy, build, brick or block, and children as still seem to be targeted towards kids.

    Thank you so much. I got 2 of the same kits I've got each of my kids. This made it so much simpler. I almost gave up because it seemed to complicated. I originally got both kits for my kids to do. Then realized how time consuming and tedious it is so I know them and their ADHD will not let them finish. Then my husband wanted to do one but same problem lol. So.... I'm doing them on my own. I have ADHD to but they are to beautiful not to complete for my boys. I left them in the closet for like 6 months because the instructions scared me off and I'm more of a visual person. I prefer video directions. And even though i couldn't find a video on my specific stamp kit but watching your video made it simple and make sense. Thanks again. My kids will love them when I finish.
