The Krazy Wabbit

The Krazy Wabbit

I dabble in various hobbies with a heavy focus on toys that make sounds. I am not a musician. My genre of choice: 'Hamalorian': Havin A Mess Around.

This channel has and will always be sponsored by my full time job. Therefore, my job is never to influence you to buy anything nor use gear to its fullest potential. Do not as I do, do as you do.

I do not believe in rules except the following:
1. Have as much fun as possible.
2. Inspire you to do the same.

Stay safe. Keep jammin!

    If someone had given me a Euro every time they asked "what is the best computer/operating system/digital camera/game" I'd be buying the Deluge today. I have something similar another option is a stand like that but mounts by clamping onto a desk, I can put heavier/bigger stuff on it without risk of failing, but it's a bit harder to move to another place compared to what wabbit has. I happen to have found the same exact tray as one of mine that wabbit has that he says is no longer in stock. It indeed works well, and then I have another one that has only a tiny edge but it for a very big laptop and it works perfect for something bigger.

  • @krazywabbit
    @krazywabbit5 күн бұрын

    @@Modrunnermusic both 😂 For reals, what is your objective? I personally think they are two different devices. One has a built in battery, an open source community Swiss army knifing it, can take line in audio, midi through, built in lfo, and many others. Play + needs samples to work granted with the addition of the synth engines, you can do some shaping. I think play has a better chance, randomization, fill and performance options. Play is great to jam. Deluge for making songs. Granted you do that on both. Once you’ve identified what you are trying to do, that will help in your decision. Good luck!

    @@krazywabbit I make songs on the tracks and sequence other gear. The deluge seems like it can do more, but has a lot of combo buttons and can be really complex. What I liked about the CT was how easy and intuitive it was. The samples and sound engine were limited, only 64 samples to use. And only two midi tracks. I plan to sequence two or three synths in addition to my eurorack

    Hardware modular is really nothing like vcv or standard synths. I would suggest you see how you like the complexity of vcv and if you do then try and build a small modular system to expand your current gear. I love hardware modular and am very glad i got into it. For me it is the most exciting and innovative space in modern synthesizers, the physical immediate interface is what really make it shine which cannot be replicated in software. The uniqueness of the modules are unparalleled in the standard synth world. So ultimately if I was you I would reconsider your decision.

  • @krazywabbit
    @krazywabbit5 күн бұрын

    @@Paintopia_VR I do appreciate the reply. One thing I’ve learned in the creative space is what works for some, doesn’t work for others. I do not disagree with you on how cool modular is. Sounds are amazing. What people do with it, awesome. We are still dealing with human beings that like different ways to do things. Have different objectives. Find one workflow awesome that another hates. You are you and I’m going to assume you love modular. I can appreciate that and happy you are doing something you love. I would not ask you to reconsider another workflow because I’ve found something I love. I’ll give you this. People change. I might venture down this road and not like it. That’s key. Finding out on my own. Finally, I’ve never been one to replicate an experience. Maybe emulate but semantics aside, it’s the experience I’m after. At this point in time, I’m having fun.
