I really love what you've done with the bike! It has inspired me to start a similar project, but on a somewhat tighter budget. I will be using universal fenders, instead of hacking up expensive WLA reproduction fenders. Could you tell me how wide your original/reproduction fenders are? That would help me choose the best match. Hope you can help!

Nice, very nice, but an S&S (pretty much an aluminum Linkert in many ways) would be more appropriate than the Mikuni or Keihen that is on there....but that is picking nits...

Hi ! the "blank" motor for building is an old XL 4-Speed . On the completed bike : there's a 1994 XL 5 Speed . Motor brackets are the same on the two models .
