I used to stand on my local M6 footbridge as a kid and wait for a 143M to come past, that is what got me into driving a truck. That was some 40+ years ago and here I am still doing it.

143M was the best Scanny I ever drove, I hate the modern electrical wagons. No feel or involvement in the drive, you are just a comfortable passenger now. Guy talks sense.

You can buy alloy backing plates to stop the alloys from seizing to the hub face only problem is getting that plate of in the future. I sat for over 30 minutes with a hammer and chisel removing a alloy backing plate the other week bloody nightmare but I have to say it’s a handy thing to fit if your running alloys instead of steel wheels... since buying backing plates for my show truck I’ve never had to deal with a seized wheel yet. guy if you ever reads this comment you should give them ago I got mines from a guy down at John deer for a few Bob he bought them for his scania and never used them, couldn’t tell you where he bought them but I’m sure you’ll know someone that’ll know someone :)

NASCAR engines are only 358 ci with 2 valves per cylinder with a single cam. In 2012 NASCAR finally gave in to EFI much to the fans dismay. 4 speed standard trans. The idea is to NOT be like F1 and keep costs down. But as we know teams find ways to cheat anyway.

It was easier to disable the speed limiter on the 450s. No EDC. 500 with EDC was harder to get around lol.

4:57 MZ Trophy 250cc , i had one in 90's as a teen. It was a polish militia version and had a bad front wheel woble at high speeds scarring me shitless everytime... good times. Guy Martin is such a example of top bloke with high work ethics that always impresses me. Im a fan forever...

“Dual clutch” technology was released by Ford/New Holland in November 1992 was called SLE gearbox. And I know for a fact the SDF group same/Lamborghini tractors had it before that also. Fiatagri also dabbled in it too.
