TAKE MY MONEY!!!
The brake caliper bracket taker offer.
Great, you've invented a pneumatic shake weight.
I never needed something so much in my entire life. If it's got the beans to compete with my 10lb slide hammer it'd make my shoulders very happy.
Man I'd love one of these for the wheel bearings here in Ontario! my knuckles hate using the slide hammer these days
That looks awesome, you need to send Eric at South Main Auto one to test for sure.
I like it, clever stuff Astro!
Looks quite useful. I would suggest you send one to Eric O to be put through the paces and we would probably get a nice SMA video from it.
SMA should be the proving ground.
You need to send one of those to Eric O at SMA!
🔨 🔥🔥
Straight to the point... Thank you...
What's Pneumatic about this? I was taught pneumatic meant operated by air or gas under pressure.
Just bought this set 78834. Thank you Astro Tools & Thank you SMA!
What gauge metal is this? How about when they are installed in sheet metal like a car/van how easily do they tear out?
Uhmmm, is it not a 9/16?
It's a modern Toyota, not in this case
Astro tools Customer Service totally sucks. I gotta run around for 7 to 8 months now.
Usually I just hammer on an extractor socket or a 12pt and discard the bolt afterwards, but maybe I'll pick this up just to save me the trouble of getting the rounded bolt out of the extractor when I'm done. My half sized lug nut sockets get used all the time though.
You guys do some really excellent tools (we see them on South Main Auto all the time!) but we just can't buy them in the UK, without ordering direct from the states and paying huge import duty. Please can you sort out a UK distributor???

God bless you all!
Am I thinking what everyone else is thinking?
Tried a few different tools, should have bought this one, but I am about 3/4 of the way through the hub cutting it off 😅
I want to know about compression tension, how much tightening torque can they withstand?
Can you vary the speed/torque?
Лучше гидравликой.
I recently bought the adn14 and could only get it to work about 10% of the time (if that) which drew me here. I went thru about 20 rivnuts with my dewalt drill and most of the time it was a big failure, even after watching this several times, and trying different torque settings as mentioned in the manual. The drill has the torque but either it's not enough to cause the rivnut to bulge, or it strips the threads or deforms the rivnut so it's no use. I've only got this to work with my impact driver drill. It doesn't have an adjustable clutch but when driving in the rivnut it sounds like it does and if I just power thru it will install the rivnut. Don't get why though. I guess it works well enough with the impact drill that I won't return it and make my own tool.
whats the red stuff ?
Grease
Astro Tools always takes my money 👍
You my brother are amazing with the knowledge you have and the work you do. Thanks for your help!
I can’t find this anywhere for sale
try grind some groves into the pipe
Good enough for me 😊
Seen you using your own bolt to do this a long time ago, seen this tool on Amazon and got it 6 months ago, haven’t had a seized hub since. Maybe one day , lol
aluminimum
Only thing I don't like about it is you have to pound out a stud, which can be a pain in it's own. Unless I'm missing something.
these didn't work too good on my impreza, the PCD on the hub was too tight effectively push on the knuckle
Is there a tool kit including 2 flashlights?
