My name is Tina Kokonas. I’m a first-generation Greek-Canadian living in the wonderful community of Lloydminster, Alberta! I am the wife of a wonderful and creative man named Spiro and we have been married over 50 years. We were an arranged marriage, and I owe our joyous lives to God and our wonderful friends and family who have loved us every step of the way.I was 18 when I moved to Canada and I had 40 days to be married, once my feet touched Canadian soil. I had no idea what life would be like back then, but I am grateful everyday for each opportunity I was given to grow as a wife, mother, business owner, and cook!

    I sprinkle it with oregano and lemon after and serve with feta cheese sprinkled on top

    As I've written regarding all lentil soup recipes, why is every lentil soup recipe the same, the lentils, tomato, salt, carrot, onion, etc?

    I never realized phyllo dough could be so forgiving! I think of it as that "pastry stuff from hell." I've also never seen the syrup made without honey. Good to know I could be out of some ingredients but able to save the baklava!

    Where is the cinnamon and cloves in the ground meat😂🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ Also rinsing off pasta..thats a no no! Not authentic..you never used Kelafotori cheese!😮

    I love this and used this "recipe" to help prepare some delicious food, but measurements...😂 564 ounces of tomatoes, don't think I can even fit that in my kitchen... this is very much like cooking with grandma, not a bad thing necessarily, but don't enter without some basic knowledge.😊😊😊

    Great, but I will omit meat as I don't eat meat. I will put lentils (boiled and drained 1st) instead of meat.
