  Scirocco isn't known for performance? hmmmm... even the 2008 2.0TSi has 200bhp, you can hit 0-60 in about 6 seconds in that bad boy, I would say that's pretty good for an everyday car. Spend about £250 for stage 1 and you've got almost R-like performance. It's actually a great 2nd hand buy if you get a good example.

  Imagine if someone in design room stood up and said, guys let's lengthen the trunk by 10-12 inches. You'd be able to fit 32inch full size suit cases. GLAs would sell probably 100 times more. right now the trunk is almost unusable for a family.

  Sadly the engine got issues with bearing in the rocker arms. Which you can count on you have to change... and if you're unlucky you have to change the camshaft also.

  Best way is to see the brake discs are making contact on all of the discs not the alloy wheels. A rusty ring.
