Ukulele

Ukulele

Joyful. Quirky. Irresistibly cheeky. So often are the words used to describe the ukulele applied to its players as well. And who would object to such a reputation, built on a sturdy foundation of positivity, individuality, and passion? The ukulele community connects generations and welcomes players of all levels, from "Ahi Wela" on the beach to Bach in the concert hall-it asks only that you appreciate the beauty of music made on four mischievous strings. Ukulele magazine celebrates your enthusiasm and inclusiveness. We want to fill our pages with your stories and playful spirit. At our best, we hope to strengthen our readers' connections to each other, and to the music that ties the community together.

Expressive wardrobe encouraged, but not required.

Great tune. Fantastic Composer from the golden age of classical guitar, neither he nor his contempories were on the top of their game when it came to naming their tunes though

Thanks for demo. Great uke. I'm lucky enough to have one. Have mixed feelings about the Freemont strings though. Would Worth Brown's be a good alternative?

Thanks a lot - very nice inspirations (specially the last very playful one - good for the afternoon in a nice shady place, lingering around on the fretboard: I’m looking forward :-). And thanks for the explanation of 9th (same for 6th, 7th, maj7th): finally I was „ready“ for to understand 🎉

I knew I needed to sit down and Iearn/practice the scales (Ugh!)- C major, D Dorian, E Phrygian, F Lydian and G Mixolydian. I sooo dreaded the thought of it. 😣 But… You just turned it into something I now look forward to. 😁 Thank you!

This is great to see. I love your class and I just happen to have a Ukulele that I removed the frets on and it’s much easier. I definitely recommend a pickup if you use a fretless ukulele.
