  Hi and thank you for subscribing! WIC stands for Women Infant and Children. It's a government funded program for lower income families. We are not a low income family however our 3yr old receives the WIC benefits because we adopted him out of the Department of Children and Families system. It's one of the "perks/benefits" we receive for adopting him. He will receive the WIC until the age of 5yrs. WIC will supply certain formulas for when they are infants and then as they get older it changes to certain foods...milk, eggs, cheese, cereal, produce, breads, juice etc.. Pregnant mothers may also receive WIC benefits during their pregnancy as well. It's a wonderful program.

  We don't have any Aldi stores in Utah but when we were on vacation last week in Myrtle Beach, I convinced my hubby we needed to go there for snacks. I'm not going to pass up the chance to hit an Aldi when I'm that close! 😅

  Doing well thank you! Same to you. We had a Kroger in the town I grew up in but I don't remember anything about deals or prices. I didn't pay any attention to that stuff growing up lol! We have Kroger delivery here but no store. The prices are high so I haven't tried them out.

  I love videos like this!! My daughter, Destiny, bought 2 neck fans a couple of weeks ago for Emmy & Lexy's gymnastics class because we can sit outside and watch them & it is HOT in Texas. I haven't gotten a chance to use it yet but when I get back from vacation I will & hopefully it works well. I'm not sure where she ordered them from but I think it was Amazon.

  I love this type of video. It's like hanging out with a friend. I need to check out that fan. That's neat about that business. I know Lowe's has a policy with their plants. To obtain a replacement or refund for any tree, shrub or perennial you purchased at Lowe's, you must have a receipt and request the replacement or refund within one year of the original purchase date. All other plants fall under our 90-day return policy.

  Hey sweet friend. Happy Father's Day, Jason and to y'alls dads. Hope everyone is doing well. Congrats, Bella on making the cheer squad. This past week was a rollercoaster of emotions. We had to say goodbye to our furbaby on Tuesday. I had my neurologist appointment Wednesday. My appointment went as well as expected. The tumor is most likely caused by my Crohn's. I have an MRI on August 13 and if nothing is wrong, I follow up with the neurologist on October 4. Right now, I'm in the hospital. I ask y'all to please continue to pray for us. Thank you in advance.   You have to go the day the new ad starts early in the day if you can lol! I have 3 Aldi's in the area. Some stores gets more quantities of certain items than others as well. I'm not sure how they decide on how much a store gets.

One is right here by me, but they hardly ever have anything & I have one about 15 minutes from me and then another one, the best one, about 30 minutes from me so I'm going to start checking those 2 stores lol. Hopefully I find some of the good stuff.

  I have still not gone grocery shopping this week. It has been a busy week. One of my granddaughters birthday was the 21st, we had a graduation party for one of my nephews, my mother's birthday was yesterday the 27th & one of my grandsons birthday was today the 28th. We had back to back soccer games last weekend & Saturday we had a combined birthday party for my granddaughter & grandson. Lol...I haven't sat still yet.

  Oh my goodness that is a busy week! My first week of June is going to be crazy! Cheer tryouts, dance rehearsal then recital that weekend, plus working 🤪 This is the season for our birthdays. Starts June 7th, 11th, 18th, 29th throw in Father's Day, July 4th, 9th Crazy crazy!

  You got some great items!! Groceries are ridiculous!! I just came from the grocery store. It was late so I just did Walmart & my total was $223.06, for 3 people. That is so crazy to me. That is awesome that Casen gets those things. The WIC, Medicaid & in state college tuition. I don't know if they get that here in Texas. I know my daughter gets WIC & medicaid. I don't know about the tuition.

  Yes grocery prices are insane! Have your daughter ask about the tuition. That's a huge expense that will be taken care of in the future! I'm so grateful for that.

  @@LivingInTheMomLane I definitely will have her find out about that. Makenzi was accepted through our school district into one of our high schools that also does the first two years of college at the same time. She will graduate with her high school diploma and a 2 year associates degree and it's free. You have to apply and get accepted and thankfully Makenzi was. That shaves 2 years of paying for college off.

  Yes we have that as well. Bella will be doing that. She's going to take 3 classes virtually over the summer to get some of her high school credits out of the way. Last day of school is next week. This year felt like it was slow but now that it's almost over it went fast.

  Those thin chicken breast are great to grill for sandwiches or salads. Much better than thicker breast

  If the salmon has bones you can eat them. They are soft and actual good for you.

  It's true. There is a lot of calcium in the bones, and they are so soft you really don't notice them when you are eating. All in all, canned salmon is a great protein selection! 😋🐟
