when trans women dress similar its a fetish! but when nasty pick me kai is literally posting wearing suspendrs/fishnets etc.. its allowed cuz he's a hypocrite and calls it "goth" lol ok that makes sense.
I was a "Trad Goth " back in the 80's although we were called Alternative, I love the whole of the scenery with the DIY attitude as none of us had the money to buy outfit from shops (which barely existed in those days). All i can see now is copycat and fashionable posh kids. I can see no imagination , no DIY style , no individuality which was what is was all about All manufactured by the who looks the best, who's got the best outfit. Boring
As someone coming from the punk genre and trying to get into goth, I immediately knew I’d fall in love with deathrock as soon as I heard the first example song that was played. I love faster songs with lots of guitar and aggressive singing. Thank you for this comprehensive guide!! :3
You're welcome! Yeah if you're looking for faster, more aggressive stuff, deathrock is right up your alley.
You feel off hard, you can't be a goth and right wing
Not believing in trans ideology and understanding that biological sex is real, immutable, and cannot change in the human species is not a "right wing" belief, it's an objective fact regardless of your political stance.
Yes that intro, someone finally said it!!! Thank you
It needed to be said haha.
Drusila ?
Drusilla from Buffy? Just a (creepy) darkly-inclined vampiress. I could've seen her being an actual goth but they don't ever show her listening to goth music, not even so much a comment on what she thinks of goths neither (missed opportunity). So no, she's not a goth, just darkly-inclined.
@@KaiDecadence she's a goth character tho like she could've been one in dracula or whatever
@@user-go1px9kt1v I disagree. Buffy was a show drenched in pop culture, especially with music. There was absolutely no reason why they couldn't have had goth music featured in the show. They could've even done something cliche but still fitting for Dursilla like having her dancing to a Cure, Siouxsie, or Bauhaus song. But they didn't. As I explained in the video, as far as my concern goes with "goth" characters, the character has to at least reference goth music because it signals that the creator/writer took the initiative to know that goth is a music-based scene. Joss Wheadon did not do this with Drusilla (or Faith).
@@KaiDecadence that makes no sense as “ goth “ literature and movies like Dracula are pre ‘70+, Drusila is a goth character were goth is based on. She is still living the way from her time space like a Dracula. The way she dresses she loves all “ Victorian “ etc by your video she would be a Goth that Gothic “ copy and love “ is based on. I was talking about Dru only not Buffy or the show, the show does have both goth and dark ( enclined) characters not the main ones tho. They have her dance (ep 13 or14 se2) on Rasputina Transylvania concubine!!? Trust me she is the definition of Goth as goth is based on literature movies = bands and cultures. Those 2 episodes have her a lot and she is what goth is based on 🤷♀️💁
@@user-go1px9kt1v "Goth" and "Gothic" are not the same thing. There is no such thing as "goth literature", there is "gothic literature" but it has nothing to do with goth music and goth in the modern sense is a music-based scene. Victorian fashion is not "goth" neither, it's just period clothing, obviously existed long before goth was a thing. And I know who Rasputina is (I actually was a fan of theirs back in the day), they aren't a goth band, they were cello rock band with mixed in chamber rock, industrial, and alternative rock elements, at least in their first few albums, especially "How We Quit the Forest" which makes sense since it was produced by Chris Vrenna from Nine Inc Nails. They're definitely a very unique band but their music is not goth. Look we will just have to agree to disagree. If you want to think of Drusilla as a "goth", that's your choice. I simply don't see her as one but that's just me. She's one of my favorite characters so I have no hate or dislike to the character but I'm just honest in how I personally see her.
How about stigma the movie?
I've never heard of this movie so I tried to look it up and I can't find a movie called that. Are you sure you don't mean "Stigmata"?
@@KaiDecadence oh shit lol autocorrect , yes STIGMATA
@@user-go1px9kt1v So funny enough, I watched that movie last year and welll, the movie is not goth or gothic. I would say it's more alternative in the same kinda vibe as Hackers as it does feature alternative subculture but that's about it.
Edward scicorhands is goth
He is not. You don't see Edward jamming out to any goth music. And it could've been done too where he could've went to a goth concert and could've found some acceptance there but they didn't utilize. He's just played straight as a misunderstood monster, modern day Frankenstein with a dark, semi-morbid appearance.
Im gay but i like straight porn i like imagining myself as woman with men . Is this AGP PLIZ ANSWER ME
I mean I think there are layers to this. Are you like, imagining that you are a woman or are you just imagining that you are in place of the woman? (You don't imagine yourself as a woman but are just mentally putting yourself there in the woman's place).
@@KaiDecadence thank you for responding me I appreciate it . But the main issue is that I don't get aroused on men's bodies . I get aroused when I see a woman naked with man .I imagine myself with the man in place of her . I also like straight men over gay men but I like gay men too .I'm not attracted to women in reality . But to men ...
@@KaiDecadence in place of the woman 👠♀️ yeah 👍
@@KaiDecadence in place of the woman yeah that's it .
Yeah in her place . I imagine myself instead of her with men .
I just subscribed!
Hi Kai! I am glad I found you. Really appreciate your insights. I am a "regular" straight guy, whatever regular means. I do enjoy occasional non gender conforming gender expression I don't really like words like crossdresser and non-binary. I feel I have evolved past being a "crossdresser." And I am clearly straight man. I have shared running into you with two advisors. They both like what they have heard. I really appreciate what you have to say. Your words speak truth and reality for me.
I have to say... with the exception of death rock... i enjoyed EVERY sample here.... great choices!
girl if you’re gonna be a transphobe gtfo the alt community
How about people in the alt community can have unique opinions and personalities
@@koalakultofficial I wouldn’t call closed- mindedness unique.
How have I never heard of these bands? They're great.
i feel like this was a video i need to watch.. i still don't agree with transgender ideology, though now i'm more sympathetic as to why transgenders believe they're the opposite sex. i've always had a strong hatred for the transwomen in the community for the internalized misogyny and the violence against women who believe in women only spaces, and it doesn't get enough awareness and makes me feel awkward to be vocal about such a deep rooted issue in society. i wasn't expecting such an educational video and from a perspective that isn't heard enough. i hope more people can understand this video isn't about hate but about understanding why it's so detrimental thank you for this ♡
also i'm not a terf, or i don't identify as one because i don't know enough about this subject to really say anything. i agree with terf values and that's it. i don't want to represent terfs because there's a long history of radical feminism that people misconstrued and i'm not at all an example of it.
@@mundaneeye Just so you know, no one unironically calls themselves a "Terf". Terf is a pejorative though some women use the term ironically just to humor it but just understand that no one unironically calls themselves this.
this is the snobbiest goth video I have ever seen
I'm sorry you feel that way
