I need a video on how to set it when I run my generator only no ac. Seems the generator runs but battery never charges.
So on my XC Pro 3000, will I always have to do this for a 30 amp service as well?- Derate it to 30 amps via setting 28 - "AC Input Breaker for Load Share"?

Why the gloves???
I accidentally set ignition control to ATO on my Freedom XC Pro 3000 Marine, and now it shuts off in ten seconds before I can reset that setting. IT IS ABSOLUTELY INFURIATING. There is NOTHING in the manual about a master reset-HOW COULD THIS THING BE DESIGNED THIS WAY???? It NEEDS TO BE ALTERED SUCH THAT ENTERING INTO SETTINGS MODE OVERRIDES THE TEN SECOND SHUTDOWN!!!!! PLEASE HELP. I SPENT AN HOUR TRYING TO GET TO THE MENU AND RESET, TO ABSOLUTELY NO AVAIL.

Use heat shrink connection to connect the AC wires, if you touch that bus bar you will die.
My RV came with have Xantrex 110w solar panels and the same Xantrex 30a charge controller. I want to add more solar panels. But...from what I am reading in the charge controller manual, the charge controller is only rated to charge at 390W. And the max PV array power it can handle is 580W. Isn't having 880w of solar panels too much for the solar controller since it can be damaged with anything over 580W incoming?

OK I just installed lithium with this exact charger, anyone know about leaving it plugged into shore power. It seems to keep the batteries at 100% with a little juice going in when it gets below that and I thought that was not good for lithium ion anyone please thank you.

Should I wrap some sort of clothes or covers around the batteries in the winters when the temperature is dropped down to 6 degrees and put a small fan on batteries during the summer season when the outside temperature is around 45 to 50?

We are replacing some electronics on a sailboat, including an old Xantrex inverter. We purchased a 1000 XC and remote hoping for a simple install however the old one had lots more wires connecting the remote panel. Any advice on how this older system (17 years older) worked? Also: does the remote panel indication of battery state of charge and voltage mean I don't need a dedicated battery monitor or is a shunt based monitor still necessary? There isn't one on this boat. I can't understand how the Xantrex could account for solar charging. Yes I am kinda new at this, but I did read the manual twice.

This looks to be simply replacing the control with a Bluetooth control. I’m looking to install the Bluetooth remote in a different location - using that 25ft cord? Does the new Bluetooth unit simply plug into the original (non-Bluetooth) unit using the 25ft cord? , Or do you completely remove the original control panel - like you’ve done in this video?

I have two SW3012's in a stacked series configuration. One inverter was purchased in 2012 F/W ver. 2.02.00 and the other purchased in 2023 F/W 3.14.00. The SCP was purchased in 2012. Firmware on the latest model SCP's is a newer version than the one installed on my older SCP. I installed them in a vented compartment and they are connected to utility power and a bank of 4 LIFePo4 12v batteries. The system operates as designed but the fans on the older inverter (master) seem to run continuously and this has me a little concerned. The fans on the newer inverter operate seldom if at all. Does anyone have suggestions on how to rectify this so each inverter has fans operating intermittently? Power failures are infequent so the inverter function seldom gets exercised.

Hi DroidDoes1991, You do not have to change settings for lithium battery on the Freedom X inverter as it is an inverter only. And yes you can use Freedom X Bluetooth panel (808-0817-02) for the Freedom X inverter. How do you reset the circuit breaker on it? Mine has lost power and the breaker pushes in and springs back. Should it be FIRM for normal operation?

I have HF 1800 inverter and when going to settings it wouldn't change from Ln0 to Ln1 also it wouldn't circle around different settings when I press green button short press when it ON does jump to another setting and press of gray button also only does audible beeps and thats all. Only be able to turn ON and OFF with long press of green button. No error codes

I have one question xantrex utube channel used the custom settings rather than selecting the lithium setting like you did. I just set mine up like you did, it’s charging. My unit looks identical to yours. I added two 100 ah lithium batteries to replace my two acid batteries
