I was a firefighter EMT south of atlanta, left the fire dept, began personal training, missed medicine, now starting all my prerequisites for PA school after working with an MS client for a couple of years. 👀🙏🏽
The following program states: Distance learning or online courses obtained through regionally accredited institutions in the US are recognized to meet the prerequisite requirements. Required laboratory courses cannot be completed online (exception: online labs completed between Spring 2020 and Fall 2021 will be accepted). I took Organic Chemistry I (lecture course only) in person and got a C+. I took the Organic Chemistry lab in person and got a B+. At a different institution, I retook the course with the lab combined and got an A. When assigning the course prereq for Organic Chemistry I with lab, do you recommend I assign the Organic Chemistry I course I took online with the lab I took in person?

I believe the PA interview guide would be beneficial to me as I prepare for my upcoming interviews. I know that by having the best practice tools I will be able to easy my anxiety and give the best possible answer to get me into a PA program. This platform has been a saving grace as it navigated changing my mind to PA instead of PT and during my application process. God bless to everyone on your platform and everyone applying.
funny, everyone asking for the interview guide has a long comment. On the other hand, I never know what to say, especially in interviews! So that’s the one I Need, bc hopefully my ps will b done before thurs
I want the interview guide because I the personal statement guide is the reason I have been invited for INTERVIEWS!! I am nervous but so excited. Please choose me and thank you for creating these resources 😅
For me, I know that the interview preparation book would be extremely beneficial! As a first time applicant, I have found that advice regarding pa school interviews has been the most diverse. Between the reddit pages, forums, and youtube videos, I am not sure what I should or shouldn’t do during my interview lol! I would really appreciate this book, because I know that The PA Platform provides extremely helpful resources. In addition, after I am done using the book, I could make it an accessible resource for the pre-PA students in a club I am in on campus called MAPS (Minority Association of Pre-Health Students). This club aims to help diversify medicine and prepare students to be culturally competent providers. I would love to help allocate more resources, such as this book, to our members. Thank you for this giveaway opportunity!!!
I believe I need the PA interview guide the most. I’m a massive ball of anxiety when it comes to interactions like interviews or presentations. With that guide, I feel that I would be able to better anticipate the nature of PA interview questions and reduce my anxiety during an eventual interview (if that day comes)! I really appreciate this giveaway and your channel in general. Thank you for providing such valuable resources.
She cute! 😁
@the PA platform, do they require GRE exam now? I know they stated they don’t in this video but the website states they do now! Any idea??
They unfortunately won't be having any new classes after the current ones finish.
Thank you for this advice!
Lol you being asked if you're old enough to be a PA, while I'm here at the age of 40 applying to PA school.
How are letters of recommendation sent to CASPA? Digitally? Or do you upload a scanned paper copy?
Sounds like preparing for being the defendant in a criminal trial, and without a clear understanding of what you are being accused of.

I’m primarily an artist, though currently studying biology. Self-expression is crucial to me, yet it often feels constrained in the medical field. Despite maintaining a 3.7 GPA and gaining extensive experience, I’m concerned about potential issues with my visible tattoos. Could you offer any advice?
Me right now super late in the game 💀
😂😂😂
This is so much motivation sometimes I wanna cry studying when I can’t attended certain events but then when I remember my why it all goes out the window 📚
Pre Pa book please I’m currently taking my prerequisites so this would help out tremendously 🎉
Can you please talk more about this ?
Prepa workbook please!
Interview guide pleaseee
Please what if I'm reading Biochemistry and molecular biology and I wanted to do PA as my passionate program, what is the minimum GPA needed
I need the personal statement book.
Thanks
Can I mention my add Dx sophomore year of college? My parents thought I wasn’t applying myself and I was lazy bc they never wanted to label me as a child with a mental condition. I was thinking of tying that into de stigmatizing mental health and making parents aware of a truly life changing Dx. I then go on to talk about my upward trend in gpa.
Do you assist in surgery?

I would rather be the defendant in a criminal trial.
Lovely! Thank you so much 💓
How long was your program?
This was incredibly helpful, thank you so much for putting this together :)
Hi Savanna, I have a question!! I got a C in A&P I but an A in A&P II. Should I retake the first series? The first time I took part 1, I had personal struggles going on in my life. But I am a strong student otherwise with majority As in all my other prereqs. Is this a deal breaker? Should I still try and retake it?
I’m on a similar boat to how you pursued your journey ( except I started with wanting nursing switching over to public health>PA) Just recently stumbled upon your channel and love the insight. Just for some context: High school , Military, CNA and then a degree in Pub Health. I’m excited to start the PA program, just taking the next proper steps. Thank you for this video you earned a like and sub 😁
please guide for international students i have done graduation from india. i do have anatomy physiology biochemestry i am eligible for caspa application?
My microbiology lab never had a grade entered, but it was 0 credits. Hopefully this doesn't cause issues. I just put the grade as a P.
Great, how about online classes? are they acceptable? I’m considering applying for PA school next year and I have taken few prerequisites classes online, I don’t know whether I will have to retake them in person before I apply. Would you enlighten me on this topic, Thanks.
Who was her PA mentor ?
This is so inspiring! I am in the same situation, 30 years old. I work full time and I am trying to figure it out how to take the pre requisites while working.
The PA Platform, This is amazing! I subscribed right away!
I have a friend that runs a lab and she just has a BS in Bio. It’s about where you live if you don’t plan to go to med school or teach or who you know. If you near South Carolina, I could hook you up 😊
Love u dear ❤
You mentioned podcasts, I already listen to CramthePance, what are other ones you recommend?
This was an incredible interview! Thank you so much for sharing! I totally related to stating at those supplemental essays! I’m definitely overthinking some things! Congratulations Nicole!
Hi Savannah! Thank you so much for having me! This interview was a while ago but I just happened to stumble across it now. I just completed my first year of PA school!
Thank you for your help. I don't feel confident at all and I am so scared. I don't know if I can do this. I want to believe I can but I just don't feel like I'm good enough
Pas du tout😭
