I applied over 3 weeks ago for the next May start date. Got an 87% on my HESI and have a 3.5 GPA from my previous college. I hope they accept me with this score. I know California is so competitive 😭I also hope having my medical assistant and CNA license helps me!

Don’t get me wrong, they are gorgeous, and probably the cleanest I’ve seen. I just wish I saw some different tosses. 45’s or maybe doubles, but then again I’m just stating a preference. Amazing job ladies!!!!
How long were you at chamberlain? I too have my BS but it’s in marketing. I have 3 science classes left - I’m wonder with their 3 year BSN how long is program w a BS and most prereq’s?
Also should I wait to apply after I take both a and p and micro? I know you can take At chamberlain but nervous my hesi may be low?
With most prerequisites done I would say 2 years and 6months!

i was trying to find more videos of working in healthcare from 3pm-11pm as that would be my shift for an upcoming job as an evs worker. so nervous about the time adjustment as ive always worked morning jobs but this is a great career opportunity for me. thank you for this video!!!!
I have never gotten another nurse to come in and take my blood. It has always been the nurse that puts my IV in. That’s unfortunate that they carry jobs from every position high and low. It must be exhausting being a nurse.

Man I wish my school cared about the color guard like this. When we preformed at pep rally’s we didn’t even get the whole floor. We had to preform basically in a little corner.

I have a question so I’m attending chamberlain and I start March 6 , I have 29 credit hrs transferring over so will my course be 3 years or less than 3 years ?

I’m a cna/nursing student and I’m thinking about switching over to phlebotomy.. I’m have cna burnout 😩.. how do you like phlebotomy compared to cna ?? Will the hospital train new phlebotomist? Do they require experience.
I love phlebotomy because i am not burnout as to compared to CNA. Yes! some hospitals will train new phleb!

Why did they overturn your application for having healthcare experience? I’m confused isn’t that a plus?
They overturn my application bc I had healthcare experience and that is a plus! But on the application you don’t get extra points for having healthcare experiences!
So it’s a negative to have experience as a CNA?
No it’s def positive to have experience!

My school doesn’t offer evening class only maybe certain lab class maybe evening. For now, my first two sessions I am only on class once a week. My next session I will be on campus twice a week!

NEVER rely on someone else getting your labs! We phlebs ALWAYS get it done! Leave it to the noob phlebs to rely on the nurses! Lol
When they offered you to apply for the May session, how long did you wait for them to tell you you were admitted?
Probably around 2 weeks!
Pro tip: take the tourniquet off gradually from the bottom. It’s hurts the pt when you pull the loose end and “snap” it off 😉
Hey, thanks for this video. I applied to Chamberlain Irwindale, think the start date they said was for September, I was hoping for August. I’ll find out sometime next week, per the email from admissions rep said the committee is meeting Monday. Did all your prerequisites transfer in? I have a bachelors in the social sciences, but I took all the prereqs at a CC after undergrad. would very much like to see the costs and completion date cut down a notch if I get in.
Yes everything transferred in except nutrition for me! The shortest at chamberlain is 2 years and 4 months!
What hospital 🏥? I am Phlebotomist in medford oregon. We start morning rounds at 4 am.
My gf is a phlebotomy technician at Destin Florida hospital 🏥 sacred heart I seen a pic of her on fb i her nurse outfit and she looked sexy wearing it sorry if I made u uncomfortable 😣

I’ve been seeing so many bad reviews for this campus so I had mixed emotions. What made you decide this was the school ? 😭😭😭
I did a lot of research into the school and I would say it really depends on how everything goes for everyone individually. I had a smooth process from the beginning when enrolling up until now. The information Zoom was when I felt like this school is for me bc they are very welcoming and really engage with ppl individually in their career in nursing! Some bonus for me is that this school is super close to me and cheaper as a private when you complete most of your prerequisites!☺️

heyy girl! I'm going to the sac campus. Someone already mentioned it, but edapts is gonna be ur nightmare. Find ur friend/study group. It is really gonna help!! What classes are you doing rn? If I took it already, I can see if I still have any resources that I could sent to you that might help :)

Were you able to take the HESI via proctored online as well as the personal essay? I do live about 40 minutes away and I saw that HESI online was an option.
Yes! The hesi is proctored online at home. The personal essay you answer 3 questions they provide you.
