We did not start this all to become a giant company that puts out as many "units" as we could, we started it because we love surfing and everything that goes with that - travel to new places, great friendships, adventure and exploration. But most of all we started this because we love surfboards!
Today Pyzel Surfboards has grown to be an international business, but is still run by the family. Jon and his wife Dali live on the beach in Hawaii with their 2 daughters, and help run the Pyzel Surfboards factories on the North Shore and in Oceanside, CA. We take great pride in every board we build, and have do our very best to make sure that our customers are getting exactly the right board for what they want to do. We have licensees in 7 countries around the globe, and Jon shapes in Australia, Europe, Brazil, Japan, Indonesia, South America and California.

I prefer the volume in the middle or middle and a little bit towards the rear. I don't like the gremlin style model with the volume towards the front. I'm not a "top heavy" person, I train legs, so my weight is more on my butt and legs area. And when I pop up, I dont like having to ride on the front of the board. Great concept tho.
Yussss
😮
There’s a new highline in sale at the pyzel location in NS. I’m gonna get it for this winter for beachbreaks and WSide. 🤙
What size is the board in the video?
i love my precious
What’s the name of the second song?
Nice!
What kind of fins?
Yet again these guys only shape for surfers up to 80kg, and then in good waves. All twins need a back box for a trailer fin if required (barrels on twins can be problematic). If you want more than 40 litres he's going up to 6'8" and so-on. This needs to be addressed. Plenty of bigger guys want litres but not heaps of length.
Pyzel makes performance boards for Hawaii-grade waves, nothing wrong with that. They‘ll make you a custom, too.
HI. When I am coming up with stock sizing for different models I have to go with kind of middle-of-the-road dimensions to make them best for largest section of surfers. We also make our most poplular designs in "XL" versions for larger/heavier surfers, but we only get limited rack space in shops so they are not going to have all the sizes we offer on hand in most places. If you are a smaller OR larger person you are going to have to order custom boards in order to get exactly what you want and we are happy to help make that happen for you. We build our boards in factories all around the world, so wherever you are you should be able to get a custom made and delivered to you pretty easily.
That’s the same with any major surfboard shaper. I’m a bigger guy too (6’3 and 215lbs) and know I’ll probably have to end up ordering a custom when I order a board, no big deal. There are plenty of boards in Pyzels lineup that have a good diversity of waves (white tiger, wildcat, mid length crisis). Also, any shaper will shape in accordance to the conditions of the waves in their vicinity
"We got some little waves" proceeds to get barreled in chest/head conditions 💀sick board tho
Completely innocent question, but what will be the difference between this board and the wildcat other than having channel? Like the board. ..both as matter of fact.
Hi-- The Wildcat is more towards a "performance" design. The Crisis is a mid-length style outline and has flatter nose rocker overall. Just basic thought is that the CT is more of a cruisey style board
I am 5'8 75kg. I have a 6'0, it feels like a more good wave board if you aren't surfing Hawaii style waves. Wide point is far forward and tail is quite narrow so it needs big fins in weaker waves to get drive. I have been using BMT but they are still a bit small. I love Pyzel boards, I have a gremlin, phantom and ghost they all go amazing.
Thanks for the feedback. You are 100% right about bigger fins for drive and I have been using our Bobcat twin fin set myself.
This is awesome nice design 👏🇦🇺👍
Ya Joel!
We need more high line videos

I'd ride that ,. nude ,. at 8-10 foot Pipe Chewing between 5 to 6 Blue Chews

Shorter than my regular board? My current regular board is meant to be surfed shorter than my regular board which was also meant to be surfed shorter than the board i had before that. I'm now surfing 3'6" boards.
make it 2’9
Hey, Have you tried it with a round tail? Do you think It would be better for good waves with a rounded tail?
This board resembles my half-pint by Arakawa
Hands down the best surf shop, period. The history and culture of ET are important and easy to see but the crew working there is AMAZING!!! Dan Connell, Daniel, Sonny, Worm and the rest of the boys make that place what it is. I lost count of the boards (both surf and skate) I’ve bought from them. Even when I don’t need to buy anything, I’ll stop by from time to time just to say hi to the boys. They’re like family.
“I needs the precious!”
looks sick 🤙
That last turn!👌🏼
Bought a 7’4” ET pintail in spring of 1974…took it to Kauai and scored perfect Hanalei Bay late September of that year…those were amazing days
looks fun, would love to try one, do you have any distributors on the Big Island have a test model? and what size would you recommend for a 55 yrold, 5' 10" at 175-180 lbs , decent surfer...
so sick!!!!
Best surf shop of all time
I can't speak the Precious but can vouch that everything he said about concave decks is true!
Looks like a McCallum
Nice, let’s go hermosa beach 🤙🏽
Thank you uncle Pyzel 🙏 stoked to try one of these now. Was a bit confused by the step deck initially but i think I'm a convert.
Best surf shop in LA County by far
Stoked you got to visit E.T. Surf. I know Mr. Eddie Talbot very well, and I have the pleasure of getting to surf with him on a regular basis. The man is truly one of my favorite humas of all time. Stop by the shop and pay Dan and the boys a visit. They have EVERYTHING, and if they don't have it they'll order it for you. FANTASTIC crew.
Spyder kicking themselves rn for not carrying Pyzel
@Pixelsurfboardsinternational, hi 60 liters?
I can't help and think of the great Dennis Jarvis when I think of ET Surfboards! Love you brother DJ...
Dan Conell, & the OG ET crew, such legends 💪🏽
Love the concept of the video. Going to promote a legit good local place. Awesome 🤩
