My sister's eye doctor left and his replacement said she did not need any injections like her previous doctor was doing which was helping her greatly. She goes and sees another doctor and they told her that there is nothing they can do for her. I know there is someone out there that can continue giving her these injections and I will do what I can to find her one...

@IndianaNaturalDog that's promising news. My doc sees the tissue in my other eye too but it's not effecting my vision right now so he's not treating it. How many injections did you have? I go for my 6th one in a few weeks. I still have a blind spot and always will he says. But my vision has improved some since I started injections. I pray for all who has to deal with this craziness. 🙏

@@user-nd8yl8gi7o my 13 y/o daughter had histo a year ago and is still blind in her right eye. She had three injections but the injections actually caused more inflammation so they put her on three months of itraconizole with a 6 day IV dosing of amphotericin B. She was also on prednisone for about 8 weeks. Within three months, the lesion went dormant and all that is left is scar tissue. Unfortunately the subretinal scarring is right over the optic nerve. She's got minimal peripheral vision in the right eye.

I have it too. Have had 2 injections so far havent lost anymore vision but havent gained much back either. Taking an intifungal will not help your eyes because its the vessels that grow and then leak. Then the fluid gets into your retina at your focal point. Your dr should have you see a specialist to receive eye injections.

I can't seem to get a definitive answer. I've had several docs examine it (my right eye) and it's like 50/50. Some say leave it. Others say do it. And weird fact the retanologist I went to actually told me he had just seen it. What after 6 months . Is it a necessary operation or will it really benefit me?

I had a vitrectomy for epiretinal membrane 9 months ago. Unfortunately for me, the vision change for the better was cut short as I developed a dense cataract within 4 months. 9 months after the vitrectomy surgery, I underwent cataract surgery. Due to the denseness of the cataract, the surgery was very painful. However, going into 30 hours after the surgery, I can already notice a significant improvement in vision, even though my eye is still dilated.

No, floaters don't go away and your brain will not block them out after a while. Stop with this stupid bs. If you have floaters, you will have the same floaters 10 years from now without any treatment. It doesn't get better from a physiological point of view.

Doctor Anne Langguth completely changed my life. To watch this video just makes me cry with joy. She has to know just how amazing she is, in my eyes. I enjoy every precious moment of her gracious time. She is an unbelievable human being. I am one year post op. The instant I woke up I was living in a brand new 🌎 I lost it the waiting room waiting to see her for my last check up. She missed all that. I am glad I didn’t make her mess up her make-up 😂 Every single day in this new 🌎 I gain more and more relief. My head tilt is almost gone now. I had tendinitis for almost ten years and my biggest gains just happened today and that is why I am here. When she comes right out and says she gives people the ability to look other people in the eyes. 💥 That is truely a remarkable feat in and of itself and she is the absolute finest person at it. I knew she had me dialed in immediately, I just had a hard time opening my eyes. I have had many tumbles in my time and they had taken their toll but she has given me new life to enjoy the rest of my time with. You are an outstanding person inside and out. ❤

I had the Clareon Vivity Toric IOL Implant (right eye) 6 days ago. I have very good contrast, very good computer, cell phone and TV vision. I am amazed by the colors that pop (bright whites and vivid color) and the focus on details that I can now see. I cannot read the very fine print on the eye drop bottle but I am also not wearing any glasses. My left (dominant) eye is blurry without glasses since it has not had surgery yet and also has a cataract which will be operated on in the future.

I have wasted 4 years putting up with a cataract , it was so simple to have the operation , it was a bit sore getting the lens removed and then slight pain for the rest of the day until I took paracetamol.but next day no pain whatsoever, my eyesight was totally clear on getting off the operating table, a slight correction to my glasses was all that was required to give perfect eyesight unbelievable to be able to see perfectly again, p.s. if you want perfect eyesight you will require to go private as the nhs do / or prepared to replace the lens with a more expensive type that are available when you go private and pay for the operation , ( unfortunately)

I have been getting eye injections in both eyes for 8 years every 5 weeks. I get numbing drops and a lidocaine injection. I never had severe pain, only a twinge. Working with the Doctor, he found the correct amount of medication. I do not have pain. Once in a while I have a small blood floater that disappears by morning. Sometimes I feel a dry eye that Systane takes care of. The worst part is the dilation that takes 5 hours to dissipate. I have lost center vision in one eye. My favorite word is stable. My hope is that they develop a meditation that will last months instead of weeks. The procedure sounds terrible but I find it quicker and less invasive than the dentist. I will do whatever is necessary to keep the sight I have.
