I recently purchased the Bullseye Deluxe and although I am extremely happy with the capability to reach extreme temperatures I am not happy with the temperature swings which has reached as high as 30-50 degrees. The advertisement say that the grill has a PID temperature regulator which I expected to mean that it would be like my recteq 590 smoker which maintains the temperature within 5 degrees of the set temperature. I contacted recteq twice concerning the swing and was told that it is normal.
Yea, I bought the new Deckboss. Temperature control is deplorable. 70-100 degree swings from setpoint.

Excellent! I've been using it for repainting old patio furniture. I know it says 10 minutes, but I find if I leave it overnight, the sanded metal parts get kind of a patina to them. Rust oleum primer & paint stick great! I've got a couple of pieces that have been in the house and I wondered about the "scrub, scrub, scrub" part to clean off oxidation.
I just bought a bag of this, and there were insects in it borrowing deep down as I tried to dig for them. They look like tiny flies.

I just took a pH reading using my digital pH meter and after it jumping around a bit from 4.0 to 5.0 it finally settled at 4.0

I own the ms180, not the "c" version, I've had her for several years now, it's been really great for me. Personally, the only thing from the upgraded model you show here is the metal teeth, i dislike the plastic ones. For me the other upgrades seem like more of a pain to me. Thanks for sharing!

This sounds great untill you realize its the old bad design so you can only plug like 3 things into it befor it is full cuz the pluggs are to close together. Also the cable is a strate down so if you need to use it in the top plug (say the bottom is for lamps) then you can't plug something into the botom plug.

I have an AR Blue 2000 electric and I used to love it but you better hope nothing ever happens to the pump because there are no available diagrams that show how it comes apart or goes back together and their tech department is horrible.
I saw that a wall mount is available for this unit. Does the unit work while attached to the wall mount? Or.. it that just for storage?
