    How much long does it the new spring; i have a stoeger m3000 and i picked a benelli extended with+5 shells but i have problem with the shells (don't take inside the barell) The length of spring is 80 cm. Thank you!!!

    She likes hot ammo. If I was willing to spend the cash I'd get a benelli or other expensive but super reliable gun for defense. But for the money this is a hell of a gun. After some breaking in it kinda can cycle light loads, but don't rely on it. Also it does require you to take the recoil like a man to cycle properly. Not saying unreliable, but don't try to cheat it & expect to get good results. But you can ghost load these bad boys! Haven't had any trouble with that

    so why do you remove that metal retainer at the end of the mag tube and the spring?? and do you need to replace it with a longer spring??

  • @RexArms

    In a later video we add a magazine tube extension so the retainer had to be removed for that. We also added a metal follower but didn't do a video on it.

    Great video Rex Arms. Considering buying one of these M3000’s myself in the 24inch length. What do you think about the general weight and balance of the gun? What capacity does it come up to without the limiter in the tube?

  • @RexArms
    @RexArms Жыл бұрын

    Personally I've bought a couple and I love them. I use them for competition in three gun skeet and also for hunting waterfowl. They balance pretty well, point well, are extremely reliable. The aftermarket has also embraced the shotgun and with the use of Beretta Benelli mobile chokes, the shotgun really has the ability to do what you need it to do. In regard to chokes my favorite are the Carlson extended for duck season I'm using the Carlson's Cremator Non-Ported Choke Tubes. Normally I'll use the MR and LR for bird hunting, for 3 Gun and skeet I use their extended improved modified as those pattern the best at the normal ranges I shoot with the ammo I use.

    @@RexArms Sounds like you’re enjoying your M3000 to the fullest! I’m definitely going to pick one up, I’ve been looking for an affordable, reliable inertia semi auto that will take Mobil chokes. Stoeger also makes competition 3 gun shotguns on the same receiver (I think it’s called the M3K) so the receiver is already drilled and tapped for a pic rail. I want to buy an M3000, screw a ported tactical Carlsons cylinder choke, put a red dot on it and use it out to 100 yards with slugs. Such a versatile gun.

    3:34-3:37 that spring there, how important is it to make sure that spring goes in the same way it came off. I ask because I dropped it during cleaning and both ends are pretty identical so just curious if there IS a certain way that slides back on the barrel or you can slide it back either way you flip it? Sorry, It's my first 12 gauge automatic so I don't want to mess it up. Thanks if anyone cared to get this far is the post, any advice?

    The Stoeger M3000 in the video is a 28 inch with the 6 round extension and the extension is nearly flush. The one Jason uses in 3 Gun is that same 28 inch, but he uses an 8 round extension (Not flush), Carlson extended Light Modified and Improved modified chokes, and uses it like a scalpel.
