Just saw my first one in SanDiego. Are they able to be registered in canada?
Honestly, I have no idea. I'm sorry. I wish I knew!
Very professional and informative. Congrats guys best tutorial.
@@effingdingus awesome! 😎 Thank you!
I replaced mine work ok first start then drove and it blew again. Put a brand new inline fuse wiring and started up good about twice and blew again?
So.i did this and found it still wasn't staying on I went to the throttle cable on the carb and now it revs wayyyyy to high and if I even move the screw it dies down if I adjust it ... What am I doing wrong or what do I need to adjust instead the cable back more slack or tight ? And loosen the bold more ? I'm at a loss going 30 mph with 100 cc
I'm sorry. I would need to look at this one in person. Do you have a shop near by?
i did this and still some times doesn't really work. i have this issue and when i try to elektrik start it i can hear the motor that wants to turn up but it doesn't wanna start some times i gotta keep give it more gas to be able to start do you may know what i can do to this?
Hey there. I would need to see this one in person to see what's going on. Do you have a dealership near you?
@@NewScooters4Less I do and i'll go tomorrow to the dealership garage to try and fix it. i think it's the carb that is the issue because the motor doesn't wanna keep spinning when im trying to let go of the throttle
@@m38b_ Yea. I would get it to a dealership if you can!
@@NewScooters4Less I do have a question tho.. i have a 17mm carburetor and i want to buy a 19mm one. would my scooter have a higher performance and more power?
@@m38b_ It would perform better :)
Thank u
Glad we could help!
Short and to the point. Greatly appreciated
HELLO PLZ HELP ! when i start mine , it doesnt a actually keep that rev ... in about 4 seconds it allways die out when stoped ... SO can it be screwing it up a little when its OFF then see if it fixed ??? and is it propubly coz the battery thats dying? or a some dirty in the carb???? thnx a lot
Could be a vacuum leak. Look for cracks in the vacuum hose or the intake manifold. I'd start there.
What kind of fuse is it?
This one is a 10A
Hey man will this happen to work on my 49 cc scooter??
Hey. It's not on every scooter. Do you have a Genuine Roughhouse or Buddy? If so... then, yes!
only criticism I can give you guys for this video is that the background music despite being completely unnecessary is also way too high level to be able to hear clearly what is being explained. i’d say put on some lapel mics or turn that background music down in post.
Agreed. We could have done much better on this one.
I actually like that a lot. A couple of high-performance cars have a similar battery kill switch like that. I wish more bikes had something similar to this.
Right?! They should all have it. Easy feature to include for sure.
I put a new battery in my scooter and fresh gas in it still will not start
Does it have compression? Does it have spark at the spark plug? Do you have a shop nearby? Typically, if it won't start it's because you either have no spark, no compression, or it's not getting fuel.
Great video!😊
🙏🏼🙏🏼 Thanks!
What if you want a 125cc scooter? Do you have to take a motorcycle class even though its a scooter or just a test for the endorsement
For a 125cc scooter, you need to sign up to take the motorcycle safety course. It is usually one weekend of your time and they will give you a card/certificate to take to the DMV to get the endorsement added to your license when you complete the course. Hope that helps!
bro ive been standing hete for 20 min
Sorry to hear that. You may have a different problem... Check the kill switch. Is the side stand down, too? If so, make sure it is kicked up (some of them have kill switches in the stand). Do you have fresh fuel, etc. too?
I have a gator 50 jog. How do I know if it has a restrictor. Pretty sure it does cause will not go 35 unless down hill.
Maybe contact the distributor? I am not familiar with that model, sorry.
What is size of drive belt
Depends on the scooter, but the one in this video is 669 18 30
Thought I was stranded for a sec but this video helped for sure! Started right up. For those who need help on getting it started with 2 HANDS 🙌 I just turned handle bars to the right and used my knee to press ignition 😁🤣👍🏾
Glad you got it going! :)
Would this work for a Honda 2003 Metropolitan 2?
It wont. Sorry.
Doesn't work , I have a brand new moped and it was delivered not working . Idk what to do
Sorry to hear that. I would definitely take it back to where you got it from. If it's new, it should have a warranty.
@@NewScooters4Less someone came today and the problem was the kickstand was down lol .. the kick stand has a Killswitch. So simple . It's my fault I should've read the manual 🤣
@@My_Bad_grammar Lol. We have another video about that too! haha!

I'm so sorry to hear this. GenZe closed up shop and we don't have access to parts and more :/
Will it work on a 50cc lexmoto nano please
my john wont turn, does anything have to be turned on for it to work?
Nothing has to be turned on. Is the back of the key fitting perfectly in? Is it possibly stripped out?
Just got my scooter out of the shop and they made an oopsie and didn't tighten the rear brake. So thanks for this tip bud, means a lot!
Glad we could help!!! :)
Just did the air trick and it worked thank you so much
Awesome! Glad we could help!
How often do the sending units go bad the reason for asking is I've got a rough house thousand Miles oil tanks filled synthetic and oil light goes on when you start it when you grab the brake ironically when the engine is running at idle you grab the brake either one front rear light goes out maybe you release the brake oil light goes on and stays on the entire time I mean I just went 15 miles and I know damn well that if it was not injecting up so it has a full tank of oil and I'm just curious about the sending unit how often do they go bad
The oil light should always come on for a second when you first start it, just to show you that it is working, but then shut off. It can go bad, but to answer your question, it's pretty rare.
So what it was is the float was stuck. On the sending unit to sensor there's a float that slides up and down it was stuck in the down position. Cleaned it and it now works correctly
@@Abc-kn5wj Glad you got it fixed! Thanks for letting us know!
@@Abc-kn5wj Glad you got it fixed!
my scooter didn’t come with the fuse on it. where do i put the fuse?
What kind of scooter is it? It should have a fuse. It could be located elsewhere though, but most 49cc Chinese scooters like this one have it in the floorboard by the battery.
I wss wondering why it cuts off i just installed a new carb didnt know you have to adjust the idle i appreciate this
Glad we could help!
Just like that, and here I am making a fool out of myself doing all kinds of stuff
Lol. Happens to the best of us!
Just bought one today im so excited this thing RIPS!!😮
🙌
This is not a permanent fix for me. I got close to fixing this problem by tuning the jets to the right size, changing the needle position and adjusting the fuel/air screw. The idle screw will result in an idle to high when the engine is warm. These scooters are hard to tune idle wise.
Sorry to hear that. Hope you can fine tune it and get it locked in! Best of luck!
@@NewScooters4Less thank you sir.
gotrax apex were is the fuse
That's an electric scooter, right? Not sure. Sorry.
The damn music is way too loud.
Thanks for the feedback.
Mines fuel injected… don’t think this will work.
Correct. This will not work. This is for carbureted machines. Thanks!
Where is it at on the Kymco Agility?
The air filter box? It's in the exact same place as shown in this video.
Thanks for this
Thanks for watching!
thank you 🥲
Thanks for watching!
Mine has this problem won’t idle and drives nice when I’m on it but soon as I let off the revs bogs out .. my bike does not have an idle screw so what then
Does it have a carburetor? Sounds like it may be fuel injected? I'd try to get it into a shop nearby to see what's going on. Sorry we can't be more help with this one!
What size carb does the wolf Islander have
18mm I believe is stock. When replacing with a new one, upgrade to a 20mm.
@@NewScooters4Less alright, is there any pre tuned carbs straight out the box for em?
@@scottyyeo7759 Yea. Most are slap on and go. What kind of scooter do you have?
@@NewScooters4Less 2018 wolf islander 50cc
@@scottyyeo7759 Get a 20mm stock carb from my team and you should be able to slap it right on. Email my team at [email protected] and they can take care of you! :)
Lad giving it big grooves in the background behind the counter
Hahaha. That's my brother. Lol.
Very useful but how do you know when it's full?
Best way is to open up the panel underneath the seat and look at the oil tank. The oil is dark in color so you can see when it is at the top of the oil tank :) Some people just add a little each time they stop for gas. As long as that oil light is off, you are in good shape! :)
Thanks, but seriously, how to start it should be a 10 sec video.
True. This was one long video tutorial we had made for customers and we broke it down into smaller pieces. Have a great day.
How do you know which size bulb to use? Cant find any info online about my scooter.
Anyone know where the kill switch is on a forosa ?
Never heard of that scooter before. Is that the make or the model?
@@NewScooters4Less torino
@@carlburgs2543 Sorry. Not familiar with this :/
Well thanks for not showing absolutely anything as far as FIXING THE ISSUE
Hmmm... I'm not really sure what you are talking about… I say in the video… “If you ever come to the scooter and turn the key to the on position and you notice right here that your gas gauge is not getting any power…” (and then I proceed to show that nothing electrical is working)… then I proceed to show you where and how to fix the issue. All the other commenters got it, so I'm sorry if something was unclear for you. Safe scooting!

Usually when it does that its because you might need sime valves adjustment.
If you want to pay over $100 for a gas cap this is the perfect bike, the Roughhouse is a fast bike, but expensive to get anything fixed, if you lose your gas cap like lots of people they don't make a simple replacement, you have to replace everything with a key, and if you can put these pieces back together yourself 1 gas cap will cost you over 100$ that is ridiculous they haven't made something a simple gas cap in years of being a bike company.
Hey! Not sure where you are shopping, but you can find aftermarket gas caps with keys, but most people probably want the key for the gas cap to match the ignition and seat lock, so you'd want a whole set. The only way a single gas cap could cost over $100 is if you lost your key to your original gas cap and the technician has to spend their time drilling out the old one in order to get it off your scooter. Maybe that's what you are talking about? Also... most people would probably just get a locksmith to make a new key for it. I think there are more options than you think if you lose the key to your gas cap. The Roughhouse is one of my favorite scooters hands down.
@@NewScooters4Less it's the place I bought it from charging to replace everything, over just the lost cap, and if you can't do it yourself you'll be stuck in this situation. Roughhouse has acknowledge that I'm completely right, that if you lose your gas cap the most common thing you shouldn't have to pay a mechanic if you lose it over 100$ to switch it. Even the company agrees with this and is going to mention it at there next meeting, getting rich of gas caps is BS
@@Civilwar.relics Sounds like it's the time that is the actual expense. It's the labor time to drill out the fuel cap with the lost key in order to get a new one on there. That's the real expense. The fuel cap itself isn't the expensive part. Sorry you lost your key! Best wishes to you!
@@NewScooters4Less I have the key. The problem is that Roughhouse in all it's years hasn't made a simple replacement, that you could just use without a key. Or even sell a cap with a key to fit those bikes, doesn't that make a lot of sense? But the manufacturer has it set so this happens, I think it's dirty and so does the person at Roughhouse I spoke to. Work all day for a dang gas cap lol wtf
