Our Readi-to-Craft video series will show you step by step instructions on how to create a variety of fun foam board crafts.
Readi-Board foam board is great for sign-making, projects, art, matting, photo framing, and other creative crafts. The kraft paper we use works well with crayons, chalks, pastels, markers, and adhesives.

This is the third diy valence video I watched and not one of you showed us how to secure it to the wall? Please. ❤
At approximately 9:23 you can see the the existing brackets from the previous window treatments. We simply rested the board on top these. If you don't have existing brackets you could use removable hooks (like command hooks). Depending on the weight of fabric you use, I suspect you could even use picture hooks.

link to the paint? <3
Most water based washable, poster and finger paints are non-toxic, especially if they are made for children. For this particular painting we used Crayola washable project paint. As long as wipe/wash your pet's paw after, you shouldn't have to worry about irritation.
I really like your tutorial.😊I can switch out any materials to attach as my bat's texture. I can even use leather! THANK YOU 🎀×_.•🎀
Why didn't you attach the alstic between the foam boards?
You certainly could put the elastic between the foam boards. I wanted to make sure they were as flat as possible against the fabric. Luckily this project is easy to customize details like where you put the elastics or how you shape the wings, etc.
Why did you paste the foam board on the side you chose & not the other side?
Do you mean when cutting out the shapes? The fabric is sandwiched between two pieces of foam board. I tried to match them up as precisely as possible.
Love this tutorial idea but damm that music drove me nuts
In more recent tutorials we've changed the music and made it much quieter.
It would be easier to watch without the music. Other than that it was a create tutorial
This was actually the best and easiest tutorial I've searched hours for 😭 thx for actually being helpful and simple when making this video . I really appreciate this so much 💐
Thank you for watching! So glad we could help you create.
can you tell me which brackets you used to hang them. It LOOKS like you used one for a 3"pocket rod but just rested the board on the bracket?? I did others using insulatin board, which is thicker, so was able to use velcro strips, as they were not at all heavy. But this Readi Board is less and 1/4" so the velcro strips won't work. Advice? Thanks!!
You're exactly right! We just used the existing brackets from the previous window treatments and rested the board on top. If you don't have existing brackets you could use removable hooks (like command hooks). Depending on the weight or fabric you use, I suspect you could even use picture hooks.
What thickness board was used for this, please? ❤
This project uses our standard Readi-Board. The thickness is approximately 3/16".
This is pure genius. I've done foam boards but cutting them creates little foams balls and static. But this is so much easier, more cost effective and overall smarter! BTW, you can go into setting and slow playback speed. I used 0.75 and found that a comfortable setting. Thank you for this great video.
Love the video...HATE the music! How irritating😖
Love this! So happy readi board made a KZread channel! I can’t wait to see all the DIYs! I love using readi boards to make DIYs!
If it's a little fast, watch it a few times. Don't like the music? Put on the cc and read the instructions as it goes along. I watched it a few times because this really is a good idea and worth putting in some extra effort. Thank you for this video! I especially like how you don't cut through to make the sides and square off the corners. It's such a clean angle that way instead of glueing pieces to the sides! That also is a good idea but this creates much cleaner lines. Very nice!
What would you use if you were going to hang it with a picture inside it??
The frames are very light. Even with a picture mounted onto Readi-Board that has been attached to the back of the frame, you should be able to hang it with some rolled masking/painters tape. You could also use removable adhesive strips like those used to hang command hooks.
this is pretty bad. all that and didn't even show us how to hang it. thumbs down.
why do people take a good video example and speed thru the instructions while talking rapidly over annoying unnecessary music? cant mute it because you lose the spoken instructions.
We're sorry you found the music annoying. If you'd like we'd be happy to upload a version with no music.
Why don’t you just use a sponge and paint the sponge brown? It’s a lot less work watching you from Canada. 🇨🇦
Oh my gosh I love, love this can't wait to try!! Thanks for sharing. Rosemarie Vigil from Las Vegas NV

Do you have measurements?
www.goadams.com/post/readi-to-craft-coffin There is a PDF on our blog post that shows all of the measurements.
@@readi-board thank you so much , I will be using those measurements after I see if mine works out 🤦🏼♀️. It’s a pain in the butt trying to figure them out but I think I got something ! This is really and incredible tutorial ! Thanks again !
@@crystalcountryman3606 Be sure to share it with us on any of our social media! We love seeing those finished projects.
Baklava please🤤
Bee Hives! Just in time for summer!!!!
Wow!! That looks real! Great job!
The brownies are amazing. Can you share the colors you used? I'm assuming burnt umber and black?
In this video we used Apple Barrel brand acrylic paints in Melted Chocolate (basically burnt umber) and black.
So awesome! It's live to see a faux lemon meringue pie!!
So beautiful!
AWESOME! 😍
I wish you'd shown how you hung it up
great ideas! (fyi, music was annoying so had to mute the vid)
Annoying music, makes person a nervous wreck.
I used black duct tape instead of glue, and it was perfect! I'm using this to put on top of my golf cart for our Halloween parade.
fantastic i just love it i will have to try that product thanks
Love it. Did 1 with blue flowers and framed it
Awesome! We'd love to see it. You can find us on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
Amaizing! I really thought than you bought the purple and black fabtic but you made it yourself. It makes the wings more pretty, good job.
Thank you!
Thank for this video! What would you suggest if I want to make a frame 3ftx3ft?
Depending on how you plan on decorating it, you could simply tape multiple boards together. Our Dressing Screen video shows a technique to create larger panels as well. kzread.info/dash/bejne/iINslcWulNatYKQ.html
❤️❤️❤️❤️🥰
You're a CRAFT GENIUS! New Subbie
Music gotta go
I actually love this music. Haha! It's the best thing about the video! It's so cute and happy! Haha!
Music drives me crazy
Great idea
Love it. So cute
Such a great idea!!!!! Just what I need thank you!
Happy to hear we could help!
Ty
too fast. Hard to follow
How tall is this???
This project is approximately 60 inches tall.
What size foam boards are you using?
The foam board sheets come 20" x 30".
Do we have to use white glue or can we use hot glue
You could use hot glue. I would do a test area first to make sure that it won't melt any of the foam or the fabric (a lot of fabrics are made of various types of plastic).
wow amazing like 4
Excelente y muy fácil de hacer
