When you finish a sculpture with the Chavant clay, does it dry hard enough that you can paint it?

I think that having a great armature makes sculpting and moving the piece less frustrating. Using the skeleton as a guide.

Если на каску он собирался еще один слой чего то налепить, то зачем он перед этим выравнивал и шлифовал каску? Это было лишним

use 3d to create body maybe a better choice……but i prefer to use clay to create head……because 3d printing is always a little out of the shape……😂i don't know why

I'm a woodcarver, clay sculpture looks sooo easy compared to starting with a solid bock from which you can only remove meaterial, never add any on or push the material around and yet end up with a perfect three dimensional form. Try it, enjoy the challenge.

What do you do with these sculptures once they are done? They are too fragile to display or sell. Making a mold would impossible with all those under cuts……Just curious.
