Large numbers of Homeless Australians are living in Tents in Parks. This has only occurred over the last 3 to 4 years, when Australia depended more on the US Economy. In the past, Australia traded with Asia - China used to be our largest Trading Partner. NOTHING to do with Austrian Economics - but WHO is to become the NEXT American ENEMY.

"Restraining yourself." What about when the government restrains you? Decides you do not need something that is necessary to your survival because it is not necessary for everyone elses.

Private property? One particular cultural orientation pushing it does not make it generalized through time and space.

Yet, somehow, people believe that if you divest the "authority" of a king or queen amongst a number of politicians - it is somehow different because "muh, democracy" or "No taxation without representation" and other such rot. The fact that I own my body and whatever my body is involved in producing, doesn't change when you call it "government", instead of "king".

"The Fraser Institute claimed in 2014 that "There has been no statistically significant weather change for the last 15-20 years."[21] Additionally, in response to a 2019 report published by Environment and Climate Change Canada, the Fraser Institute claimed in an article that "Most of what people are noticing, of course, are just natural weather events." The rest of the article goes on to portray the report as hype and misleading.[22][third-party source needed] These claims contradict the consensus of experts in the field and are not in line with scientific data regarding Climate change.[23][24][improper synthesis?]"

Focus on how efficient taxes are and how high they are. Please take econ 101. For instance, you can tax land at its full present value without any deadweight loss.

  • @ClayShentrup
    @ClayShentrup12 күн бұрын

A welfare state is extremely good as long as it's done with minimal deadweight loss. Denmark is still one of the most free market countries in the world according to the heritage foundation.

I looked at the IEA's "Net Zero - Roadmap to 2050," and at its worst, it is a document full of magic, hope, and purposeful ignorance. It is impossible to reach 2035 without a significant decline in living standards, as absurdities already outweigh realistic expectations by 2030.

In Norway (Where i was born, work and live) The middle and Lower class are the big losers. The government is extremely rich, and the government official enrich themselves personally with goods and favours trough government spending. Especially towards Europe, to gain better and more lucrative jobs/positions in the future. Just look at the incompetent Brundtland at WHO, Stoltenberg at NATO, Jagland at the Nobel Committee & CoE, Usually Labour and left leaning corrupted Politicians. (Not that any politicians are any good here)

Absolute nonsense! Take it from a dane! In 1957 a danisk middleclass citizen had 1/5 of the wealth of his american fellow. In 2000 they were equal and since then danes have passed by americans. Free medical aid, free education, 5 weeks annual paid holiday, 1 year of maternal/pasternal leave for every child born. Very low unemployment rate and support for all poor people. Take that! Calling danish socialism a failure is a complete lie!

This seems to be a highly selective portrayal of how the government and economy in Sweden work intended to push an agenda of higher taxes, privatization, and lower government spending. One thing they fail to portray is how Sweden's welfare state supports economic growth, stability, and prosperity for everyone.

As The Fraser Institute is a libertarian-conservative, as far right as you can get before it is called fascism, think tank, I don't rate their view on Danish "socialism" much higher than the "report" on Denmark by Trish Regan on FOX Business Network!

In Scandinavia it's 6 weeks paid holiday every year, maternity and paternity leave for 8 months, free schooling, free medical treatment, poverty aid and so on. 60% of all Danes live in their own house... Unlike in USA where the middleclass economical decline supported by GOP has only favored the 1% richest and Corporate America. So much for the famous White Supremacy! Get real!

Definitely not just taxing from the middle class bet yeah the income brackets max out at about double the average salary. At the same time extending the brackets more is really not going to do much considering how few people make much more than that. The combined "middle class" makes thousands of times more money than a few billionaires

Singapore is so obviously a better working democracy than the US. A character like trump, Gaetz, Boebert, Greene, Jordan, comer, Scot and lots of congressmen and governors would never be elected and in fact, could be in jail. Also, their intellect is appalling and too low to make laws for the nation or to govern others Likewise, justices like Thomas, Alito, even CJ Roberts would never have been appointed to the Supreme Court and a few of them could be in jail too.

Hm... The 100% bankrupt in 2007??, ALL the excess deaths since the plandemic??, The Danish love of Eugenics?? The huge amount of Danes "living abroad" and, their sudden "disappearance" (in waste incenerstors it seems??)?? The income from DK's ongoing child-sex-slavery/trafficking???? The constant breaches of International laws and the complete lack of a functioning legal system??? Many, many tings from/about DK clearly not worth mentioning from the "simply so happy" place here - including the ongoing medical experiments on 100% healthy, well functioning people "for the fun of it" ??? One last question for now: How many 100% innocent Danes have been directly slaughtered "for the fun of it" this time 😱🤮😰??? Denmark is a disgrace 😰😰😰!!!

PS: I see that Denmark AGAIN now, solely have decided to demand, all Danes travelling to Cape Verde are forced to buy a visa (valid for 30 days only.. 90 days just "disappeared" as your best people does??? )...? Exactly when did Denmark start dictating on behalf of the Cape Verdian government?? Just for your information little Denmark. You do NOT own Cape Verde and, you never will!! Please start to comy International law and NOW please... IMMEDIATELY!!! And, stay AWAY from all other countries and their governments - including Cape Verde who are perfectly capable of making their very own laws!! In other words: Get OUT of all other countries but your own little SHxx!!

The most significant difference is that the government pays for stuff via the taxes. While in places like USA have for profit middlemen nestled in between. The most clear example of this is in the healthcare sector where a trip to the hospital is insanely high becouse everyone needs a slize of the money cake. The hospital, insurance, the pharmasutical companies etc etc. All thoes costs are funneled into private wealthy individuals instead of the state.

As a Dane, our local Mayor just had a succesfuld Bone Marrow Transplant against Cancer, finding the Marrow in Peru! It is done for the many Taxpayers money and it isn't a Personal Problem! I had a transplant of the lenses in my eyes some years ago. Also paid for by multiple Taxpayers money, and not a Personal Problem! You don't risk becoming ruined from health problems in Denmark, without a valid Health Insurance. And I live from a fine, ordinary Public Pension.

I find this statement about taxes and "small" government nonsensical. Singapore does things that America would never allow. For example, a majority of the land and housing is owned by the government, and taxes are low because the country is small. The larger your market is, the higher you raise the tax rate.
