Thanks Chris, loved this. Even as a hardcore Fractal AXE3 user this is super interesting and sounds sick. I definitely use the same principles you apply here. Not sure if this is possible in the QC but Fractal makes a few things a bit easier with their Channels regarding block management Blocks (like delay and pitch) can have different "channels" in them. So Channel A: Digital delay /w settings X. Channel B: Analog delay /w settings Y I use Channel A in scene 1 and Channel B in scene 2. It stays the same block. You can switch delays within the same block within the same preset using scenes or midi. But everything in the QC sounds great as it is, just a different workflow I guess! :) thx again! keep this coming please

At what volume do you reduce the preset output? Thanks in advance. NEW sub! PD:Oh my God, traveling with all that equipment must be stressful in case something happens to it...
@ChrisDavisTGI27 күн бұрын
Hey! Fair question! The physical volume knob out the outside of the unit is more of an attenuation knob rather than volume. I find its best practice to set it to full volume and then set your final intended volume digitally inside the unit. This also makes repeating the exact volume and gain staging must easier, just set the knob to 100% and you should be set!

So sick. Cheers dude.
Thanks for watching!
Can you do a tone tour of guitars and bass? Would be cool to see some more detailed QC walkthroughs.
Absolutely! Im going to do a walkthrough of the guitars with the other members of the band when we prep for our next tour!
Nice rig and rundown! The iConnectivity interfaces seem like a big single point of failure, do you have backups for those too?
Not currently, but they're built for this exact application and there are a TON of these units out running shows larger than ours nightly and I've heard of very few failures thankfully! Im sure at some point I will snag back up units to bring along with us!
Lots of things I don’t understand but it looks awesome!
*Lot's of things to learn* 🤣
I’m not that technical haha but it looks like you’ve really compacted everything down, seems to work very well. Always love the videos dude
man this is handy af damn
It's been a life saver! Already used it on 2 more fly gigs since this video and plan to take them to Australia in September!
@ChrisDavisTGI dude thats wicked ! I'm just in a small band but it would be handy to have that pedal board setup for my cortex. I thought the same thing about the power supply that it was kinda weak
Great video! I wanted to ask you a question: why do I always see the volume of the QC at maximum in professional bands' racks? What volume is appropriate to set the QC to maximum? At what volume do you reduce the preset output? Thanks in advance. NEW sub! PD:Oh my God, traveling with all that equipment must be stressful in case something happens to it...
@@ChrisDavisTGI OH THANKS YOU VERY MUCH!
“Best case scenario” I get it…
🤣🤣
I’ve created a similar (but much smaller in scale) rig for my band and it’s brought our show to another level. Being able to have the same consistent feed in your ears at every show and rehearsal is so great
Oh yeah! I dont ever want to go back to playing without IEM's, it truly has helped us play more as a unit!
thanks so much for doing this video in between your busy schedule, we really appreciate it and I don't think people understand how much goes in to making a video!
It was fun to make, there will be more coming, I'm enjoying sharing my gear nerd side with everyone 🤣
Amazing to see this :) And compare it with our tiny little rig.
Tiny rigs matter too! Haha I have a video on my channel about a tiny flyable pedalboard set up me and our guitar tech built for us for a Latin American tour we did this year and it rules! The tiny ones are just as important!
@@ChrisDavisTGI aha I'll check it out :')
Is your drummer using the TM2 for monitoring or just output to FOH
Output to FOH and monitoring!
@@ChrisDavisTGI nice I’ve been thinking about this as well. Right meow close micing stuff which goes to IEM and front out house. Thinking this might be a bit more consistent. Btw can’t remember who but I took an automotive class and met one of the band members fathers here In MD, small world
No way! That would be my dad! I'm a MD guy!
@@ChrisDavisTGI haha nice! Yea I was at a training event and I think I started talking about music and he mentioned that was like..well shit. I know that band haha. Yea Im out in Laurel, I've been playing for a local band here called Here Goes Nothing. Small world
