    Good show. I said a few weeks ago that I was frustrated by all the negativity. Wasn’t that I didn’t appreciate Mr. Drew, but it seems every episode was saying the Falcons were doomed. Was just looking for a balance of criticism, maybes and maybe-nots, plus some pointing out the positives. All Falcons fans should know to expect the worst, but this has some things to look forward to. Thanks, Aaron, as always. Any news on Austin Mack? Alford had been a good player. Maybe he is a good practice squad player?

    That’s funny we passed on Parsons to draft Pitts. Zero chance we can afford or pay the highest paid edge rusher next yr I’d be calling teams about trading for a CB 2 that can be a 1 because we are about to over pay Terrell

    I've been telling guys in the forums that exact thing regarding the blocking scheme. They don't understand football enough to have a conversation with me. I'm super glad someone else understands that we ran outside Zone so much because that's what our guys were good at based on the type of linemen we have. We sprinkled in a few other gap type schemes but our guys just aren't built for that, especially along the interior.

    The problem is the Falcons wasn't QB away from being in the driver's seat of the division. And the only reason people are saying we have the division in hand is they totally think the rest of the team suck in the NFC South.

  • @MikeLarry910
    @MikeLarry9107 күн бұрын

    They're saying this because the Falcons have nearly won the division two years in a row despite having bottom-five QB play in the NFL. It stands to reason that if they replace a terrible QB with a top 12 QB while keeping most of the same roster, if not improving it, that change alone would make them favorites in the NFC South.

    speaking of pff - I just read recently qbs who have 2.5 seconds or more , kirk cousins name is seen in the top 5 of alot pertinent categories....and for several years. This falcon oline continues its press clippings , nfc wide open and falcons could go VERY far in year 1. Cousins to Atlanta isn't apples to apples to any of these comparisons ( brady, Stafford,aaron-love, Carr , whatever said name). All these situations so different.
