Koi are colorful Amur carp that are kept in outdoor pools and gardens for decorative purposes. Hope this helps.

The lack of light-tipped primarily feathers and a golden hugh to the facial feathers makes me think juvenile dark morph Pomarine. Definitely not Long-tailed.
