  Seeing this about Mr. Roboto strangely reminds me, I use to think, the manner in which Dennis decided to get past Wooden Nickel execs by re-recording Lady, that they should of done just that with the old hits, You Need Love and the Best Thing, along with Witchwolf, The Grove of Eglantine, Man of Miracles, What Has Come Between Us, Father OSA, Miss America, etc. It would of been fantastic to hear these songs done live in whatever incarnation it was performed with. I grew up with those tunes before the big string of hits, and yes, on the radio, many of these songs played on FM when I was a teenager, in spite of most of them not reaching the Billboard charts.

  Great video. Elliot is so dang cool. I grew up in the 80s and hated the synthesized music. I adored the cars for being a real guitar band. I have played guitar since 11 years old and often do this one. Awesome. Thank you

  Pathetic, and I loved styx when they WERE a band. The brothers Panozzo are incomparable not to mention that absence of Dennis DeYoung. Humor me, as I'm a boomer, barely, and I recall their greatness circa 1975-1990ish.
