Looks great!!!
If you like choices, you would like this game
The White Castle first. Not the heaviest, and the nicer theme. FWIW, your background music is too loud.
Thanks for the feedback, I thought it probably was too loud, trying to find the that right spot…..👍
I would play Ezra and Nehemiah first, because I love the theme and the mechanics sounds very interesting🎉🎉
I completely agree. The theme drew me in, and I’m sure mechanics will tie in nicely
Always wanted to try out this one!
I really enjoyed this one. Especially if you have kids or you want a quick light game with a light theme.
The White Castle first because I have heard great things almost first is Ezra and Nehemiah, a nit intimidated by the extensive learning curve, but as someone in a Christian household, I know that they'll be working hard to understand and play this with me. Appreciate the opportunity!
I feel ya. My go to weight is 3 out of 5 and EandN is almost 4/5, but I love the theme and I love Garphilll games. A lot of times I get intimidated until I start digging into the rules and find its fairly intuitive. W shall see. welcome to the channel. I appreciate your input.
Harmonies look amazing to be honest!!
White Castle first, really like the chain effects. Almost sounds like a roll and write with the combos.
I can't wait to get this game to the table. Devir has come up with some really good game lately.
I love all of them, heard so many good things about them all, so hard to pick one over the other. If push comes to shove, I would go for Ezra and Nehemiah as I like a game that is rich thematically and heavy on mechanics
I figured you would choose EandN 😆. Have you had the chance to open Paladins?
@@TableTheGame Not yet. Everyone is busy during the eofy, hard to get everyone around the table 🥲
Cool, are you in finance or accounting?
@@TableTheGame Architect hence why I liked the Architect game as well 😂
That's right, I knew that
I would play Ezra and Nehemiah because of theme!
I love the theme 😀Garfphill games seem to merge mechanics very well with theme
Hmmm I would play Red Cathedral first. I the rondel is more interesting to me than the dice placement in white castle. Though i prefer the art in white castle and ezra more haha
basically you like all these games 😆 for me the red cathedral ihas been a game I've wanted tonolay for years. I think it’s a little overshadowed because it is an older game, but I'm sure it’s going to stand up.
@@TableTheGame well I like the art in Ezra but it's probably too heavy for my taste 🤯
That is the only concern I have for the game as well. Three out of five is my sweet spot and this one is close to four out of five for difficulty. We shall see.
Hmmm probably White Castle for me out of the 3. Always liked Japanese themed games
you are right there’s just something about that type of artwork and buildings that just looks so cool
the white castle! isnt it the lightest game of the 3?
The white castle is in the middle 1. TRC: 2.82/5 2. TWC: 3.03/5 3. EandN: 3.78/5 three out of five is my sweet spot. it’s hard enough to be a little crunchy, but also not too daunting
Probably between red cathedral and ezra and nehemiah. Boths sound like great games that I would enjoy with my bg friends
Thanks for giving Red Cathedralal some love. You are the first one to mention it
Ezra and Nehemiah! It is the heaviest of all 3, but the game has such good mechanics and theme together!
Garphill does such a great job merging theme and mechanics together. Great choice
Great giveaway! I’d play the white castle first, me and the family have it near the top of our wish list.
Hope you guys get to play. It will probably be the last game I play from this list, but I'm exited about it.
Looks great, I would probably play Ezra and Nehemiah first, love the theme
yeah, this is one of my most anticipated games of 2024
It would be Ezra and Nehemiah for sure! Love Garphill games, love the theme and mechanics, and wanted to back it but couldn't at that time! So fingers crossed 🤞🏻!!
Thanks again Will!
That's what happened to me, I looked at it 100 times and thought I could back it at the pledge manager…. except Garphill doesn't do a pledge manager…..good luck and thanks for watching
Awesome giveaway! I’d play Ezra and Nehemiah first as I love me some Garphill Games!
They have become one of my favorite publishers What Garphill game is your favorite?
Either Hadrians Wall or Paladins of the West Kingsom
I want to play Hadrians wall….its a roll n write type game correct?
Yea it's a roll and write. Though it a lot heavier compared to others I've played
Of all 3, Ezra and Nehemiah I am most interested in, purely on the theme. Love the Biblical story and am interested to see how it plays out. But I do have the White Castle and have played one round of a solo game to learn how it plays (haven't gotten it to the table with anyone yet), so technically it is the one that I "would" play first.
Ezra and Nehemiah is the clear winner here. I’m glad everybody is interested in it. Please let me know when you get to play the White Castle? The white castle will be the last game that I play out of these three, so it may take me a little while to get to it.
Thanks for the giveaway. Ezra looks a good fit for my family
That's cool, what type of games do y'all usually play?
@@TableTheGame board games that incorporate card mechanics, be that driven, hand management, set collection, trick taking, but definitely card over dice mechanics, as it just feels like you have more control over your destiny, and less of a luck fest.
I'm the same way. I think that's why I like Dune so much. However, I have softened on some euro games that use dice, like Castles of Burgundy for example. they incorporated some resources that can manipulate the dice roll to help mitigatete the luck issue. and as much as I appreciate Catan for what it did to open the hobby,, the dice part of the game can be frustrating.
I would probably play Ezra and Nehemiah first. It looks like a super cool game
My thoughts exactly
Awesome video and background music! Really excited to try this one out to be honest! It sounds like a great game!
Appreciate it…. this is one of my most anticipated games of the year.
@@TableTheGameI'd love to try out Ezra at some point this year to be honest! Really looking forward to more content on this game! 👏😺
I hope to play it this coming week. Right now we are bracing for a Huricane in Houston. We should be safe, but it will hit close to us
probably play the white castle , the theme suits me the most
I really love the artwork in the White Castle. I also can’t wait to.see how the bridges work.
Ezra and Nehemiah is probably the first one I would play, it just looks so amazing
This is one of my anticipated games of the year
Garphill Games makes some great games; very happy Renegade Games brings them to wider distribution. I 100% want Ezra and Nehemiah - I love the theme plus the designers have not disappointed me yet (to be fair I have not played all of their games though).
I'm with you, I've been anticipating this game for a while. Garphil games is my 3rd favorite publisher
Didn't know they had a black playmat!! It looks epic to be honest! I got the burgundy! 👏😺
I almost got the burgundy but the black won over
Is that less complicated than it looks ?
This is one of the most intuitive games I own. Don’t get me wrong, to have an in-depth strategy you will have to know the game very well. I consider myself a casual player and every step is very laid out for you.
Fantastic unboxing!!! I'm the same as well, I don't open up a game unless I'm certain I'm going to play it and only after reading the rulebook from an online pdf ruleset. Hope you enjoy it! Heard this one is pretty cool! I've only played Scythe. 😺
I will be playing it this week, it seems like it is going to hold its own from Scythe
Wow this looks like a really well made. Those mech looks amazing
Have you ever played scythe?
@@TableTheGame not yet. It is on my list, from what I heard its one of the best game of the type you will play
It is one of the games that brought me into the hobby
The quality of the components looks amazing!
I’m always satisfied with Stonemaier Games. They don’t overproduce games so they keep them fairly economical, but they also don’t lack anything either.
Awesome video!! These three games are fantastic, I've got the old version of Le Granja, but this new version looks spectacular! Hope you enjoy playing them all! Looking forward to the comparison!
I appreciate your support. Which one of these games do you like the best?
Thanks for the overview. I have this game, but have yet to play it. I need to get it out.
it is a wonderful game. I’m not gonna spoil anything because I may do a ranking of all three of these, but Viscounts is extremely close to being my favorite.
I got White Castle a couple months ago. I have only played one turn solo, just to get some of the rules, but I hope to play it with some friends soon. Red Cathedral has been one on my want to play list for a bit, but I haven't put much effort into finding a copy.
that sounds like me. I opened up expeditions and learned the rules and couldn’t get anybody to play. So last night I got the solo rules out and started learning the solo rules. But it was getting super late so I ended up going to bed 😆
@@TableTheGame Lol. I have been interested in Expeditions, will try it sometime I am sure. But I got Scythe (not the same game, I know), set it up for a first play and my family got bored with the setup and wandered off. So then I packed it away and haven't gotten it back out. It has been...probably over 3 years. I should play it solo sometime.
Man, that is exactly what just happened to me w/ expeditions. I learned the game and then no one would play…..a few days later I got it back out And began to learn solo rules, but it was late, I got tired and still haven't gotten it played. I got the expansion, because stonemair seems to use their expansions to fix gameplay issues and what I've read, this expansion will fix some issues, so I bought it.
@@TableTheGame I just watched your short unboxing the expansion and it made me want to play the game.
I don’t know if it will be as good as scythe but it looks really good. I’ll let you know when I play it. Hopefully, it will be this weekend. Take care
Without checking, is this the first time you were in front of the camera? Face reveal!?
No….ive done a couple other videos where I shared my computer screen and spoke about some crowdfunding games. But this was almost a debut, kinda nerve racking lol 😆
Great stuff! I had never heard of red cathedral. Very interested in hearing the differences!
Its going to be fun
Love the small box size... but probably way too many minutes of playtime.
Yeah, this is an expansion for Expeditions. It takes about 1 1/2 hrs. This expansion does streamline the game and help jumpstart things. I still haven’t played it, but hoping to this week
*cough* 90 mins?! Oh heck no! Lol
Ok, check this game out. I just backed a game called escaping the rat race.. let me know if you would like a game like this.
Excited for the giveaway and what's next!
Tonight at 10. Good luck 👍
I do like the colors! I think it would be fun to try
You would enjoy this game. The art is amazing and game play is streamlined, but packs a punch
Viscounts looks the most interesting to me!
You were the first one to pick viscounts by itself. I hopefully will be doing a review on all three games and viscounts and oaladins are so close
I like the Paladins more suitable theme for me
I’m torn, I know architects is not my favorite, but more suitable to play with my 16 year old daughter. Paladins is everyone’s clear game of choice. Thanks
I am thinking between paladins or architect
You are the first one to mention architects. When I first saw these games architects was the only one that I was really interested in. I still feel like it has the best cover. Thanks for giving it some love 😂
@@TableTheGame for sure! 😄
@ArchExcel you have won a West Kingdom game. So you need to pick either Paladins or Architects. You have 48hrs to email me at [email protected] I will give you instructions on what to do to claim the prize. Thanks for your comments and I can’t wait to get you, your game.
@@TableTheGame Hey I have replied to you e mail 👍 Look forward to your response
Paladins! , cant go wrong with the other 2
You are right they’re all good in their own right.
Got to go with Paladins!!!
😮I didn’t expect this, but everyone but one person have chosen Paladins. 👍
Viscount or paladin. Cant make up my mind
They are very close in my opinion. 👍
