I have a similar issue but it’s not 100% the same. The right side of my defrost vents throws out cold air, but the left side throws out warm air and I have it set to 80 degrees. Would it also be the actuator that would be the issue?
tuned to 38hz
Hey man, is that a question or a fact? If a fact How did you come to that conclusion bro?
@@Foxcraze it was just a joke. No offense meant. Nice job on your sub box, came out great
@machielvandertoorn8758 lol nah man no offense taken, I didn’t tune it. I set the amp settings to manufacture recommendations and left it at that. It sounded good to the ear so I didn’t do anything further.
DAM I just totaled all the money the comments said it cost them and put 100 dollars for the ones that did not mention the price and you have saved me included almost 43K dollars.
Well damn that’s a good bit of assistance when laid out that way haha
hey bro, this epoxy stuff is really bad for your health. i sincerely recommend wearing at least safety goggles. also recommend gloves and a vapor mask. but if you doing this in a good vented room, you might not need a mask. Nice video tho!
Hello, I was analyzed your YT channel and I saw that in your channel have some problems, that's why your channel is not growing. Your videos is not reaching to targeted people, not getting engagement. Do you want to know these problems? If you can give me permission I can tell here, . Where Can I tell? Here or email or ig or fb etc......|||||||||||||/\..?|?>|":>'
Now that's quality content right here, love how you take the time to explain each of the steps! Who goes to the trouble of showing what an enclosure looks like from the inside anymore! Thanks very much, that is great inspiration for hobbyists like me. You mentioned in the series that stapling the fleece was a bad idea. Could you please elaborate why?
Thank you I really appreciate that! In regard to the staples, I wouldn’t have stapled the fleece into the sub ring. It put way too much much material into the area where the sub would go and I had to grind and cut all that shit out to get it to fit again. haha
@@Foxcraze Thanks for the quick reply, much appreciated!
Thank you for this video! I ordered the part and my dad was able to make the install for me. Delighted to have A/C working properly!
I’m glad it was all able to work out!
Thanks for the shout out. Bumper looks amazing. Your daughter is a pretty lucky little girl
I’m guessing your RDX doesn’t have power folding mirrors. Mine does, so I may run into a few differences.
No, my A-Spec definitely didn’t have power folding mirrors. Aside from there being a motor and gearing in the lower arm, the plastics being removed should be fairly similar. If there are any major differences, be sure to message back and let us know so anybody in the future can search through the comments and find your information.
@@Foxcraze thanks for the response. I’ve got the new pieces. I’ll make the attempt to swap out in next week or so. I’ll update once I get it done. Mine isn’t broken, just a large scratch on the red plastic cover.
Definitely gonna do these mods. The dealerships charge like $500 for the black out edition emblems. Hey, does your front emblem badge has a little play? I was cleaning it the other day and I noticed it is not a tight fit like it has some 1cm play all around and wanted to know if this is normal or if I should just go to the dealer to get it replaced under warranty
Oh yeah man for sure. Blacking out the chrome completely changes the look of a car to me.
Man if u sold these u have plenty of customers
It was an idea I had until I realized the cost to ship something like this and the likelihood of so one paying it being slim haha
I took apart my actuator to find the little gear had come loose. Only needed a readjust and it fixed the problem.
What an awesome build and video showing how its all done, thanks for taking the time to show us all how you did it. And kudos to you for having the skills to pull it off!
Thank you, I have longer in depth videos covering each step of the project in my video library.
@@Foxcraze good to know, I recently bought a custom enclosure for my is300 (2002) but I am struggling to find a good place to mount my amp. That led me to your video, even though it’s about building a subwoofer enclosure I thought maybe I could take the info and customize it to build a custom amp rack. I want to mount my amp to the side like you did your sub. I just have to figure out a way to add a fan in as well so my amp doesn’t overheat being stuffed in a somewhat sealed space.
Damn nice job taking the time to do it right
I appreciate it!
Thanks for the video! How is the grill cover holding up?
Like an absolute champ, zero movement whatsoever!
Good to know about weeve care doing mine but I'm laying a strip of kevler on bottom so if it scrapes won't damage carbon fibre (F1 cars have kevler skid pads just a idea)
Hell yeah, good to know about the Kevlar appreciate it!
Great video. Did you ever find a high heat resistant resin for those panels? Thinking of doing some of my engine trim.
If I were to try engine bay parts again, I would probably use MAX HTE. It has good reviews in regard to high heat applications.
Soy de argentina,de diez el trabajo, podría saber materiales para la construcción de la caja?., gracias!!!
Thank you, I have a four-part video series on the actual build of the box that details all of the items needed to make your own. You will need to look back in my videos to find them however because they are from about four years ago.
Question. Are the chrome inserts removable? Hard to tell from the video. Meaning, could I pop out the chrome inserts, paint them black, then reinstall?
Yeah once you remove the trim pieces the chrome inserts will pop out but it would have to be done with the panels removed.
@@Foxcraze Thanks!
Man I need to much bass to run something this small but boyyy do I gotta say.. you made that look damn good!
I appreciate it!
Please 🙏🏻 where can I get them
I’m working on a better version right now so stay tuned!
bro, really nice job. that was awesome
if the air isn’t blowing cold at all will this fix the issue? i already added freon
This is a good next step for sure, it did for me.
my brain right away "you have to try that" gr8 job bro looks badass
You’re a life saver on the 8mm hack to remove those plastic 4 prong bolts. Thank you.
Hey btw i have the same q50, is your q lowered at all? Or is it the front lip and side skirt that makes it look lower? Just curious because i dont plan on lowering my q50 anytime soon but i did order that same side skirt and debating on this front lip you have on or a different one. Please respond and let me know id really appreciate it man!
Right so my car is not lowered at all. It is the all-wheel-drive model and I think a little bit higher than a rear wheel drive is. The side skirts and front lip do not physically lower the body in any way shape or form. However, the reason it looks lower is because it eliminates that under curve that the front and sides naturally have on the car and makes flare out more from the door itself. I have videos on the diy prep and painting of those skirts if you go back in the video section far enough.
That was some great info on the front crome parts, I didnt know just those came off I was going to paint them today too so glad i saw this video haha. Now tomorrow im just going to take them off so I can do a nice job and not have to prep around the car so much!
Oh yeah, if you’re gonna do it, might as well do it right the first time! Good luck, add me on insta and show me how it turns out.
Thanks for sharing this information it was very helpful as my car is doing just what you described .
No problem at all. I’m just glad I was able to help.
Was there a reason you had to take the tabs out under the hood?
The very corners of the shroud were overlapping the grille. I removed them as a precaution so the shroud lifted enough to clear the top corners of the black shell and not cause it to misalign while installing.
did you use the factory holes to screw in the side skirt?
I sure did, and they have held all these years perfectly.
@@Foxcraze did you use any hardware underneath?
@douglasa2642 yeah boss, I bought longer push pins and replaced the pins that held the stock skirt up so it fits through both layers of plastic.
aaaaaaaaahhhh!!!!!! no es en mala.. pero quede mareadoo.. 🤦♂
Is the 2015 q70 like this?
It should be fairly close seeing as how Infiniti/Nissan don’t like to change stuff up.
@@Foxcraze ok thanks
dumbest shit i’ve ever seen on a Q
Is the cabinet calculated?
Not perfectly but it’s estimated to be somewhere between .90 and 1 Cuft.
i don’t know anything about what to do/what products to get for my ABS spoiler i just bought to prevent cracking and rusting etc. do you happen to know the steps for that/and what products i need?! Thanks!!!
So with ABS you won’t have to worry about it rusting specifically. To prevent the hardware you use to install it from rusting, buy stainless steel hardware. ABS won’t crack on its own so make sure you don’t over tighten the bolts when installing and try to not hit it with anything heavy and you should be fine. If it’s a trunk spoiler you might be able to install it with 3m tape and be good to go depending on what type of spoiler it is.
@@Foxcrazeokay, that makes sense.. thank you so much for your help!
@@Foxcrazeback again🤪🤦🏼♀️ for the sun exposure.. could i get krylon UV resistant spray paint to put on before the primer+black spray paint? and i would sand it first, correct?
@fitness.hanna.579 ahh so if your painting them you would first scuff it till its dull in appearance and clean it well. Primer, color coat, then for UV protection finish it off with 3-4 coats of Spraymax 2k clear coat. They sell it on Amazon and it comes in a can. It’s exactly what I used. The UV protection will always go on last to protect the paint.
Hey man how do You know which brand of resin to go with ?? I’m starting of new
If I were to try engine bay parts again, I would probably use MAX HTE. It has good reviews in regard to high heat applications.
@@Foxcraze noted. Thank you boss
No problem!
Nice video! 👍 Can I use this 2k spray can to clear coat my entire car at once with out doing panel by panel? If yes about how many cans will I need ? I have a 2005 Chevy cavalier.small car
Thank you! So these cans are extremely effective but I would not try running passes across the entire vehicle like you would a spray gun. These cans don’t have enough pressure to maintain that length of pass for that long and not cause the paint to randomly spit. These cans are best used panel by panel and is achievable just takes a bit longer.
If the reflector wasn't broken, would one be able to snap off the top (painted) shell so easily? It looks like the reflector's screw that goes into that top part broke off thereby freeing the top part to be simply pulled off. Is that correct? Thank, super helpful video.
You are correct, it will not come off at all if the reflector isn’t broken. the entire front of the mirror housing top (blue) and bottom(black) have to come off as one piece before being able to remove the top (blue) piece from the reflector housing.
Incredible work man, great time lapse too. Also like how you mounted the amp in the opening for better cooling, smart move. Really awesome finished product, the vinyl wrap looks clean.
I really appreciate the positivity!
Oh, thank you for your Service for our country my brother!!!
Sweet!!! Nice contrast in colors.
Yeah man I’m def digging it! The wrinkle red Intake and valve cover will finish it off nicely.
Is there an option to easily remove whole front or is it spot welded?
It is all spot welded, unfortunately.
@@Foxcraze ok, thank you!
Great video! Very informative
Thank you , I appreciate it!
Always wondered how tuning for a frequency goes into these boxes? Is that thing with these kind of builds??
Great video!
Thanks! It’s much appreciated.
Love the new mats bro. I may look into that style for the Fusion.
They are solid man, highly recommend.
Looks so much better!
I thought so as well. Honestly I think it look better than the rock creek version. since the platinum grille didn’t have the alloy color rings at the top of the grill like the rock creek has.
Do you know what size shards you got ? I don’t know whether to go with 1/4th 1/2 or 1 inch shards
1/2 I believe is what I used.
Great technique!
I appreciate it!
You should put a fkin epilepsy warning on this video ffs.
Anything to keep you alert my friend.
