It's so weird that your recorded tones aren't sounding bad at all in the video. To complain that excessively but have your own audio not match your description is a little off. Yeah, I think you said it best when you said you're spoiled. You sound it.

Guy has immediate tonewood bias. Says tone is not for him but you blindfold this guy and he won't be able to tell from his favorite dreads. And of course he claims PB strings would sound better more than the guys that actually build it and listen to their guitars for hours every day.

... Do you guys put your bass knob up to 11? What kind of tone is that? How can this ever be used in a live setting or on a record with all that low end woof?? Please opt for a more middle of the road EQ on your amp when showing us pickups. There is zero way to judge them with that level of a drastic EQ on them.

Went to a shop a few days ago to buy a Gibson 335 and ended up with this Ephiphone 335 Figured in Blueberry. 6 times less the price, same sound (really, no joking) and its a bit more comfortable in my hands. I had a very bad misconception about Ephiphone but with this Inspired by Gibson's series they did an amazing job.

To my opinion, the Strat has the most appropriate tone for what is being played. The Gretsch has the fullest tone and sounds dangerous.

Due to the neck not having finish on it, it’s more sensitive to the environment. Even my custom shop relic, needed fret job when going from summer to winter. That’s normal…..

Thank you for this video and all your videos on the channel. I wanted to ask your opinion about a problem I'm experiencing on my FM9. I have a James Tyler guitar with HSS pickups (Duncan JB and 2 landau coils), and basically if I use the factory settings on input1 (AD sensivity 50% and Input gain 1,000) I get a very strange saturated sound (bloated in the low frequencies). I tried creating a basic amp band-commander preset at its default settings and it sounds saturated. To get a clean sound I am forced to set AD sensivity on Input1 to 20% and Input Gain to 0.25). What really makes a difference is the input gain, whereas AD sensivity simply allows the signal to clip less frequently if I hit hard with the bridge pickup. I still get this kind of sound even if I use other guitars.... (my standard les paul, or a squier mini strat with 3 single coils). Could you please tell me what values you usually use like AD sensivity and input gain on your fractal? Could this be a fault of the FM9? I also recorded some samples by recording my pc screen. I'm seriously debating on weather or not I should get one. Other than the head stock, and the color of the body, is it really any different than the Epiphone Inspired by Gibson Custom Shop 1963 Les Paul/SG reissue that just came out? Because if it's basically the same guitar, I won't get it, since I just purchased the new model, but if there's anything different other than cosmetics, I might want to add one to my collection.

How much is Slash making of these? 3 piece top and people still love to pay top money. Slash got me into Les Pauls never cared for a signature. Love plaintops. Even my 600 Euro tribute has a better top than this.

Sorry Dan, I got to give your review about a 2.7. This guitar has a lot to offer and you barely scratched the surface with your super fast assessment. Were you handed the guitar with a post it note of specs like a minute before the camera was rolling?! I'm not saying I'm pro Fender, but they did deserve a fair shake for this guitar. I checked this guitar out and you can do a ton with it. The pick ups are just fine with the coil tap and TBX circuitry. The sound cleans up extremely well. The quality of the fretwork and overall finish was spot on. Watch some of the other reviews of this guitar to see what you missed. Some things can't be hurried.

I've recently got the Masterbilt Epi 1942 Banner VOS J45 with the L R Baggs Piezo system. It's an awesome guitar. Not "for the money." It's a really good guitar on it's own merits. I was concerned that mine wasn't a "23" from Indonesia but an early one, "072" from China "15", but l needn't have been concerned. The build quality is great and it sounds wonderful acoustcally and eletronically. Shimmers at the top. Has great harmonic overtones, that woody middle thud that marks out the J45 and enough low end. I'm really happy with it. So happy that in the basis of this guitar and the many great reviews l bought sight unseen the Epi Excellente and Wow! What a beautiful looking and sounding instrument. Great woods. Ebony and bone in all the right places. Just a pleasure to own and play.

Buy a second hand Gibson 50s standard and swap the pickups with Seymour Duncan slash pickups and you will have a better guitar.

I have the same " cosmic green" one...only complaint i have is, I wish fender would use a linear taper volume pot, it pisses me off how turning down does nada until the very last bit of a turn. makes it v hard to control the sound by riding the volume..
