  I bought the exact same band on AliExpress for$3. I got the black one and a light grey one. The grey one looks nicer on the Mercury. My favorite watch band for my Mercury is a NATO watchband.

  On my Black "Ocean of Storms", maybe on all versions, the strap bar is composed of a central portion, plus one unscrewable end, and one fixed end, although both ends have keyways. I mean that both end parts do not unscrew, only one of them. Also they can have been put in very tight, so you need good quality Allen keys of the precise size to avoid damaging the watch parts. An alternative is to use H 0.9mm screwdrivers. Working under an illuminating magnifier also helps.

  nice strap dude! Goes well with the sweater. I bought an nice Italian leather navy blue with black matt buckle for my mission to the moon which was impossible to get
